It took me way too long to find a video that goes through these important things regarding the actual mathematics behind the model and the assumptions. An absolute life-saver!
Thank you so much Sir. It was an incredible presentation of the Cox hazard. Very clear, elaborative. Bless you for contributing to science and education
Excellent explanation; regarding the 5th point, I have a question that many people use Cox proportional model with “age”, either continuous variable, or categorical variable, in biomedical research. It looks wrong?!
If the concordance index is less for example c-index 0.5. How we can improve this concordance index in R language? If we used optimisation method then which parameters we need to used in Coxph function. Thank you.

This is the best survival analysis tutorial I have seen. Excellent teaching.
I agree, by far the best I've seen, so well explained and doesn't skimp on the theoretical detail
This is the best introduction to Survival Analysis that I have come across. Everything is so easily and clearly explained. Thanks Prof Marin!!
You’re welcome
These assumptions are important, but this is the first time I learnt! Awesome~~~

Thank you so much for giving us this very clear and comprehensive overview!
Great tutorial and explanations! Thank you for this!

The same issue as you.
But I think you can fix age at the beginning of the observation and do not make any change during the observation
Can you show us how to test these assumptions in r?

Bit late, but thank you for the lectures!
Thanks for the nice videos!
Does the 5th assumption not also hold for exp and weibull?
Yes, the first 5 all apply to exponential and weibull as well
THANK YOU SO MUCH !
Please sir make a series of videos on Time series analysis, Bayesian Statistics. or if you know any source . Please share a link. Thank you prof Marin
thank you again
Perfect
Nice shirt
