Vital omission on the spy: The spy may be seen as a townsfolk. So, if the spy nominated the virgin, the spy may die. If the spy is executed, the undertaker may see them as the investigator (or, likely what ever the spy was bluffing as)
This is old, but worth clarifying for future viewers: The Virgin’s power MUST activate based off of factual information. If the Spy nominates the Virgin and that is the Virgin’s very first nomination, the Spy does not die because he is a Minion. The spy “might register as good & as a Townsfolk or Outsider” specifically to roles like the Washerwoman and Librarian, who checks for those roles respectively . Neither role must be poisoned or drunk for this to happen; it will all depend on how the Storyteller wants to play their game. (Edit: does indeed also apply to the undertaker and Ravenkeeper roles)
@@BKStarlet08 Have these rules changed lately? Ben was the storyteller for an NBR gameplay 3 years ago and the Spy DID die when nominating the Virgin. Source: ua-cam.com/video/r0BS2tm7ddQ/v-deo.htmlsi=knu46yRKJ4EsKe5B&t=1896
@@BKStarlet08 Spy can register as a townsfolk(if the ST decides it does), as far as the Virgin’s ability is concerned, the spy is a townsfolk. Think of it like whenever the word “townsfolk” appears, you can replace it with the word “spy”. Recluse works the same way, for example the Slayer can shoot and kill the Recluse.
If you are a monk and don't want to die, do you have to lie about your role? If you do and someone else is that role won't you get executed by other people?
@acephyo7222 he knows he's the recluse, but abilities that interact with minions or demons can also interact with the recluse such as the slayer or empath
Wow, really? Do you think I made any money off this, or took any money away from NRB by making this? I made this to help first time players understand the roles. Also, yes, I emailed Adam and never received a response, and I spoke to Ben over social media, and he liked it. If anyone from NRB contacts me to take it down, I am happy to do so. Saying I stole this is ridiculous, and you need to calm down.

Ty for this! This game has rekindled my interest for social deduction games, although this one especially seems fun and dynamic
Really useful guide, thanks
No problem!

@@노란바나나-e1t yup, that's one of the big dilemmas about the monk. It makes staying alive difficult
Does the recluse know he is the recluse or do you tell the recluse he is demon or minions?
