Yes very correct. Success mindset is different from normal people. Successful people is good to listen to the feedback of everyone (rich poor all people). Listen is one thing, to execute is still must decide by people who has the success mindset. Everyone should learn from successful people's success formula and not expect successful people to follow the mindset of poor people. They are poor in themselves because of their mindset. We need good mindset which can bring food onto the table for all Singaporean. If the poor man can't even feed themselves, yes still listen to them (meet MP sessions), but not be led by them.

Price will go up for sure. Inflation. Government can control inflation to some extend but they cannot stop inflation. Because a significant part of the problem comes from other nations. Money keeps on printing and circulate around the world. We Singapore has no resources nor land for growing our own food. We rely on trade to exchange for our basic necessities. When money gets inflated globally, we easily get affected. No government, no opposition can stop inflation. I have the same sentiments as you. IMO, LHL values "YES" men/women more than capabilities. But most YES people are not capable in their work but in curry favor their boss. This is not what the people want. Money (which is not a small sum) should be paid to those who can contribute to the welfare of the country, not to any particular person. Not knowing LW much, if he is not along the same line as LHL, he will have difficulties to form his own "best" team as long as LHL still has influence over his choice. One guy claims everything you see in SG is created by a party. This is flawed in numerous ways: 1. A party is just a name. The OG no longer exist . It's the OG that made it happen. The subsequent team is not the OG team, they Inherit the success. So, the subsequent teams could not have done what they done without the OG setting the foundation. So if current team claims they are great, we need to discount this claim by factoring in the OG without whom the present team could never have done what they done and might not have existed. How was he able to make such bold claims? He can get away with it because English is pure Ambiguity in all sentences since it was invented. Language is Art is imagination is limited by your roti prata'ing. Every sentence they say has potential of being rebutted and even debunked. 2. Without a Super Condoning population, the current team could not have existed. Many with some wisdom long knew there are flaws in most policies and that the team is not as good as they make us perceive. But out of Supporting, they condoned flaws and failures thought the decades since 70 years ago. Many who are well off certainly naturally are politically apathetic and just support the status quo. But this is mistaken as the team is so perfect and great. Without feedback of flaws and failures, the team could never have achieved. So, the claim that everything is due to them is flawed and foolish. 3. Without the 40% voters who are tax payers, can the team have no problem funding their implementations? Every thing they claim credit has 40% contribution and enabling by the 40% tax payers. They 40% also gave them support by being law abiding and avoid protesting.
Please don't talk rubbish. We have had 2 Prime Ministers after Mr LKY. If these subsequent Prime Ministers and their cabinets were no good especially in more and more complicated and difficult global economic environment, you think Singapore new graduates can command such high starting salaries when after Mr LKY many more countries who were previously closed are all now opened with much bigger populations and cheaper labour cost? This includes China, India and many other African and ASEAN countries! And if subsequent leaders no good still so many people all over the world want to invest in Singapore and buy our properties here? There is a Chinese saying: start business difficult, to protect or preserve business is even more difficult! i really hate it was citizens do not value the efforts by subsequent government after Mr LKY. No government is perfect and the world is much more complicated now. Those in business should know. It does not help that technology gets obsolete so much faster than during Mr LKY's time.

Lawrence was never a bigwig. So far, he looks more like a moderate guy to lead Singapore. I wonder who wrote his speeches because he always needs to read from a script. I feel more ashame of the higher earning PM. The teleprompter PM. Housing expensive, car expensive and even hawker food is so expensive where people goes on social media to complain. The aspiration of Singaporean is being undermined by these factors. Most Singaporean cannot do worthy jobs because they face stiff competition from incoming talents and they end up in the gig industries doing PHV and delivery. Luckily these industries still remain with Singaporean and PR. If PAP becomes more dominant then I think they will even allow foreigners to invade these gig jobs. PAP frequently highlights potential economic repercussions of voting for opposition parties, such as concerns about foreign investment, job losses, and the management of public funds. They argue that a change in government could disrupt Singapore's economic growth and stability. Not wanting opposition to even have equal seats in parliament! They have hold the similar fear tactics on voters , warns that a politically divided parliament could lead to inefficiency and gridlock, making it harder to pass important legislation. This narrative can instill a fear of a lack of progress in governance if opposition parties are given significant power. But forgetting citizens are equally disappointed and disgusted at PAP force policies that are disadvantages to citizens and Singapore being pushed out to them!
@@Ken-g8p Which policies are disadvantageous to Singaporeans? A good government cannot always listen to the people because people by nature are greedy. Many people want to withdraw all their cpf early. Does it mean that the government does not care about its people by insisting on the current policy? Who will the people look for when they have no money and can't work? @ Housing Policies: The Housing providing affordable public housing claiming by HDB. However, people feel there are not enough flexible options for young couples, and many struggle with rising property prices, making homeownership difficult. Transport Policies: Public transport in Singapore has also been a source of frustration. People expressed concerns about rising fares, overcrowded buses and trains, and the need for improvements in service quality. Social Welfare: Although the government has programs to assist those in need, critics argue that these programs are not enough. Citizens needed more support for lower-income individuals and families. Political and Civil Liberties: The strict laws governing freedom of speech, assembly, and political opposition have attracted criticism. Many citizens and activists are calling for greater freedoms and a more open political environment. Talking about COE, people feel that the policies have not effectively addressed this problem, leading to frustration with their daily commutes. COE and ERP systems are not just about traffic management, but also serve as revenue generators for the government. The high fees associated with COEs and ERP charges create a perception that the government profits from citizens' needs to travel. You mentioned CPF, One of the main frustrations is that CPF savings cannot be fully withdrawn at retirement age. Instead, they are meant to provide a steady income for retirees through the CPF Life scheme, they should have the freedom to access their savings as they see fit, rather than being restricted to prevent potential misuse. Government never helps those in deep shit because of overspend at own actions! people prefer to have the autonomy to manage their finances and make decisions about their savings without government intervention. We are not a communist country and we don't obey rules by government that hold such logic. We have our rights and chosen this government in running the country, if there are things not right we as citizens have to sound out and vote in another!
@ A list of it, simply the Frequent fare hikes leading to public anger, especially not aligned with service improvements. The rest just excuses. We are not a communist maxims country! Thus, take the video with pinch of salt hah.
Clickbait! There will be no shift from the rock solid 60% consistent traditional support for the PAP plus 90% representation in parliament. There are no indicators of a structural shift on tbe ground. All major concerns continue to be addressed from Day 1 of the last GE right up to the upcoming GE 2025. The battle at every GE has always been to win over the middle 20% swing votes. In GE 2025, should the PAP capture 70% of the national votes, it'll be considered a solid mandate for the new PM Lawrence Wong. At 65++%, we could say it's a resounding support. This is the more likely outcome for GE 2025.
Do use common senses, the Singapore dollar is strong and with a free port. You will know why the inflation, who controls the pricing, and who is actually taking the profit. Narrative can be crafted and it's cheap to divert attention.
With the trade wars going on, to change an established and experience government is asking for disaster. PM Lawrence Wong will garnered more votes for PAP than his predecessor I believe.
The PAP has made Spore into a City state not for Sporeans.. Cost of living continue to spiral, competition for real good jobs escalate even for our new graduates, population getting more grey without much support, private housing gets out of reach, Govt intolerance for public discourse on political issues, Govt mishandling of Ridout saga, TCJ ex Speaker episode, ongoing quarrel between LHY n LHL on LKY Oxley debacle. There's little Direction for Spore next 15yrs n beyond our children can look for forward to under LW 4Gs..
Singapore is on track to "matilah". That's been my thesis for years. Why? Because "We The People" have been far too busy chasing status and wealth, and not paying attention to the actions of the ruling political class. Getting the numbers of OPPOSITION up in the Parliament is a good start. It's not the only thing. Politics is DOWNSTREAM from culture. If better politics is a long-term goal, then the culture needs to change...and that means one individual at a time. Majulah or Matilah Singapura? Your choice. "The People Get The Government, and The Country They Deserve"
a big thing to realise is in terms of the country the governement is not the Boss, We are cos we are the ones who put voted them in and we pay their salaries, the government are no different from the maids
The problem is the rich pay the most. The rich owns the maid. Most are paid for by the rich, wealthy and successful people. The tax that most people paid, can' even cover the cost of the road we walked on.

Rising inflation is increasing the cost of everything, yet the only response seems to be offering temporary one time handouts on few occasions.
One guy claims everything you see in SG is created by a party.
This is flawed in numerous ways:
Party can come and go country will remain, even America every 4 to 8 years president power will be renew yet their jets and submarines are still the world lost powerful
You should look at China's military advances. The days of US dominance is bearing its end
@@patricktan6456 America’s enemies today are poorer and weaker than in 2019. The dramatic decline in such a short time of the Chinese and Russians is rapid and drastic. Even though we despise autocracies, I still feel sad for the crying fifty cents army in SG.
The failure to control inflation, and the issues facing aspirations such as aspirations to own a car, only to the wealthy. SG PEOPLE no longer ignorant, they understand what is the real price of a car , a basic Corolla cannot be $170K above. Food costs are so high but salaries are not improving much for the general people. Big class divide. Plus the ministers are now out of touch with the ground. That's big issue. Rapid breakdowns of mrt that always have a person in-charge that has no extensive ( decades ) experience with trains makes citizens feel they are taken for fools. 😢😢😮😮
SG is losing her soveign status to manage as a country.
we've never really lost it, just no one wants to step up to lead it
Bingo , the difference is Yes No man and Yes Yes man
Already lost that when signing that treaty with that unmentionable country.
Unable to control soaring cost of living. More than 50% Singaporeans wish to move to neighbouring Johor
Basically the leader is saying eventhough we are incompetent, you shouldn't change leadership because they may be inexperienced
Amazing Video
I don't have confidence nor do I trust politicians even pap leaders!
The point is the older electorate vote on the basis of nostalgia & not on harsh reality. Why jack up the GST by 2% amidst rising food & oil prices & global chain disruption due to Ukraine-Russia war etc. The 2& GST rise shows: a) Pappies dun care & b) It signals a possible emptying treasury which the older electorate dont want to find out and know. Then what abput Income-Allianz deal? How could Chee HT argued in support of it earlier without first doing his homework & finding out about the capiral extraction plan? That saga shows that the Talk Dowm from a group who brand themselves as "elites" on "Mt Olympus' should be jettisoned by younger electorate choosing political representatives who genuinely care about Sgreans. Ok Lawrence Womg!!!
Brave of you to assume he didn't know. Would those on top make a decision they are ignorant about or do they act to enrich themselves?

Some even still working despite in their 70s
Till now I don’t see any of the 4G ministers able to lead the country. Although they are trying very hard to please the citizen. Example giving out free voucher to the citizen but all these already made known to the people of Singapore. Today give you a chicken wing but few months later, they will get back a whole chicken from you. What the point?? This is making the citizen getting more and more angry with the current government.
👌👍Singapore is the most stable nation in the world, politically, economically and socially.
Low Thia Kiang handed his leadership of the Workers Party , quite happy with what the PAP and WP had achieved.
Lee Hsien Loong handed his leadership to Lawrence
Wong.
LHL retired and take on the😀Senior Minister position . He is also quite confident that his successor will lead the nation well.
‼️‼️⁉️❓There are a,lot of political parties in Singapore. Singapore doesn't need so many of them.
Harris Ng YM 👻😄☕🍰🙏👌💞
I am voting Pritam, yes inam in Aljuned. Even if i was in Pasir Ris Punggol, i will vote dumbo Desmond. I am doing so because i just don't think PAP is SG future.
Looking at Malaysia, no matter how f uped the politics there is and how corrrupted Mahathir is, his second legacy is giving Malaysia a proper foundation for a Democratic Republic. Give Malaysia time, with the Anawar era screw ups out hopefully soon, Malaysia direction will change.
Now question is, can Singapore be as daring as Malaysia.😊
All the best to Singapore. I think Singaporeans are wise in their choice and prefer a stable government.
Yes. We are unhappy with the rise of Almost everything, except our salary!
Is Any opposition ready to take over the government? Listen to the people cries. Lookout and go to the roots of the problems.
Learn, and work together as Team Singapore!!
Kingdom Fall when they
Don't trust and fight each other.
One issue's of discontentment, Ministers salaries...
Need to be dealt.
To have more Iron, take supplements😅
The PAP will still form the Government no matter how much gains the Opposition may make.
Lawrence Womg is just jacking the Opposition up and despite recent setbacks it will be awhile before they make decisive gains to be able to form the next Government.
Lawrence was never a bigwig. So far, he looks more like a moderate guy to lead Singapore. I wonder who wrote his speeches because he always needs to read from a script. I almost faint when he needs to read from a prepared script when our less successful neighbour PM can just speak off his cuff. One PM earns so much money but talk like a school boy against another that earns no salary from a country that Singaporean thought is second rate speaks like a pro.
High COE prices are causing the people to be very agitated especially with MRT breaking down now and then.
Not sure if PAP will lose its dominant but it is harder for it to outdo their past election results.
Anyway best of luck to the PAP.
I am not a political prople so from my view as long as whother bring this state make Singaporean first and make the Singapore honest leadership make economy growth safer no racist no nonsence follow the law job securityç and good listener justice and address Singaporean first puting all race together Chinesd Malay Indian and other is good.As Singaporean we not only for ourselve but for all

1. NEVER TAKE SINGAPORE'S SUCCESS FOR GRANTED....
2. DO NOT THINK THAT ANY POLITICAL PARTY CAN PROPERLY RULE THE COUNTRY , ESPECIALLY THE TINY AND FRAGILE ISLAND ...
Where is gracious society? HDb loses its aim to basic provide housing
absolutely, nowadays people are seeing HDB as an investment just like private property and the government do nothing to stop it and their usual excuse is let the market decide.
They better provide affordable HDB housing, even now government grants, you still need to pay 200k for a 4 room flat
30 years ago, a 4 rm flat in Tampines was already around 100k.. Are you expecting to pay $200?😅
@yoyolexy now the HDB price is getting insane, it cost more than half a million easily, some location is even higher, HDB supposed to be affordable public housing, how to survive when our median salary is this low and need to pay half a million mortgage

Nonsense!
Most people aspire to own a car so should the government keep car prices low to show that they are listening? What is going to happen to the roads if almost everyone can own a car? Many people want to withdraw all their cpf early. Does it mean that the government does not care about its people by insisting on the current policy? Who will the people look for when they have no money and can't work? I do feel that a change of government will have a significant impact on Singapore's economic progress and stability because none of the opposition parties are ready to take over. Even WP, the strongest opposition party has said it's not ready to take over
@ Housing Policies: The Housing providing affordable public housing claiming by HDB.
Citizens have every right to voice out the disagreement and expression of the difficulties they face everyday lives. Government not doing what they are doing, gave every right to be voted out, simple as that.
Voting for the MIW means guaranteed loss of foreign investment (Shell MNC kicked out), job losses (how many locally born citizens fired while most jobs created for CECA), and the management of public funds (waste money on mayors and founder's memorial). Communicate with your vote.
@@Quest3Games How many 'locally born citizens' have been fired?
Are you sure LW dealt with the covid-19 pandemic competently? Many questions remain unanswered about the safety of the experimental mRNA covid vaccines. Also, the high excess deaths has not been properly addressed!
he dealt with Covid-19 pandemic 'competently' by forcing everyone to take vaccines and ordering the limit of number of people gathering. That's not handling competently. That's handling with force and threat.
over regulated policies would see the new generation to vote out their ruling party since 1959 ...
Those opposition coalitions the video mentioned are just punching bags.
The only likely credible opposition will be WP as they has the experience.
However, this video does not take into account of the many issues over the year, such as the increase in GST, the law suit of the Leader of Opposition, the handout of the upcoming financial budget announcement.
Don't be cocksure..
There's the Silent majority

The PAP has made Spore into a City state not for Sporeans..

"The People Get The Government, and The Country They Deserve"
the vote is a start but what leads is our actions, innovations and ventures
a big thing to realise is in terms of the country the governement is not the Boss, We are cos we are the ones who put voted them in and we pay their salaries, the government are no different from the maids
The problem is the rich pay the most. The rich owns the maid.
Most are paid for by the rich, wealthy and successful people.
The tax that most people paid, can' even cover the cost of the road we walked on.
