I would not go outside and stayed in bed. I got a support dog and I am in therapy now. I can talk about it now and I like myself, but it took a long time,27 years. When I watch you and your sister you make me feel alive!! Thanks for all you do for not just the LGBT but for me too!!😊

You always think because you’re part of the same community of ostracized Americans/people that others in your community will be more accepting of you than the rest of this world has been but sadly, that is not the case. I’ve been a queer people pleaser my entire life, and I think it has a lot to do with our upbringing, and always being made to feel like nothing you do is good enough, and that you will never shine ever because no one will let you No one will allow you to be yourself and allow you to speak freely, and no matter how hard you try and no matter how much you change to meet meet their demands their expectations and their wishes, it’s never good enough because you’re not good enough And if that’s how your family is treating you and that’s how your community is treating you and if that’s how your country is treating you, you blame yourself it’s something that you did wrong . i honestly don’t think you’re a “recovering people pleaser” bc you choose kindness, compassion and overall leading with your heart versus ego. it’s easy for people to lash out at others or “read them” but you genuinely possess what drag and the community is supposed to be. being open to others, wanting others to be seen and just being a good person. i say reframe your thinking on it. yes stand your ground and don’t let others walk over you, but it’s also okay to avoid those with bad energy. believe who a person is the first time they show you how awful they can be and don’t give them access to your light anymore. you’re the best sugar!
