- Kırkağaç is one of the small districts of Manisa, located in the Aegean Region of Turkey. Its population is around 38,000. It was founded in the plain named after itself and at the foothills of Yund Mountain.
Kırkağaç is located in the northwest of Manisa, on the İzmir-Bandırma railway. The distance to Manisa is 79 km. There is Savaştepe district in the north, Akhisar district in the south and east, Soma district and Çamlıca Mountain in the west, Musluk Mountains and Siledik Hill in the north-east.

Among these varieties, Kırkağaç-589 variety is long and cylindrical in shape, its stem part is pointed and protruding, its flower nose is rounded and can be stored during the winter season.
Kırkağaç-637 variety generally has a round fruit structure. Since the melons from our district are durable, they are hung in warehouses and sold in winter.
Kırkağaç Pine Festival, which has become traditional in the district and was first held in 1861 and will be held for the 163rd time in 2023, is a gathering place for nature lovers.
Those who visit the pine festival; They can see all kinds of colors of green, pitch and live in tents under pine trees, have fun at fairs and amusement parks, and shop at the stalls of nearly three hundred and fifty tradesmen.
The Pine Festival, which ends on Mother's Day every year, lasts approximately ten days; The festival, which has become a tradition, is celebrated with enthusiasm every year.
There is also a facility affiliated with the Youth and Sports Directorate in Kırkağaç. This facility, used by scouts and athletes, is located near Sarıkız Cemetery in the district.
