and whaaaat, this is almost six minutes long! this must be one of the longest videos i made, still i enjoyed every minute while making it
so this is not my usual type of videos but i wanted to make this for a long time and basically represent their relationship, and how most certainly ric was in love with her

I remember that at the beginning of the series Caroline complained because all the boys preferred Elena and in the end she ended up being with almost the entire cast of the series and had chemistry WITH EVERYONE.

Personally, I don’t know why Alaric and Caroline get so much hate. She didn’t have a choice about the pregnancy when the twins were magicked into her. She had to go down this path and so did Rick. I know it’s weird because of him having been her history teacher but the circumstances were totally out of their hands and they made it work. That’s why I always liked them because they took such a horrifically difficult situation and did what they could together. I see a deep friendship love there more than anything. It’s quite beautiful actually.
But Rick fell in love so it wasn’t horrific for him and he got his children
if u think abt it Alaric is younger than Stephan and Damon he just looks older

The writers don't know how to write actual drama and plot between characters so they just throw issues into their relationships to make it seem like they know what they are doing.
I love alaric since season 1 and tbh he deserves all the love.. He is such a nice person.. His wife turned into a vamp and left him then kluas killed jenna.. Later he was turned into a vamp who was trying to kill his own friends.. All there were not his fault.. I wish i could go in their world so that I could say things that Alaric deserves 💔
The people that hate their relationship because of the age gap seem to forget that elena is 18 and Damon AND Stefan are both well over 100 soooooo
AND not to mention Caroline is like 18 and Klaus is well over 1000 yet they're one of the most shipped couples
@@miss.sheabug.studios klaus died a 21 year old and caroline died a 17 year old. Organically they are fine in the mental age bracket and not to mention they had way better chemestry because of the vastly different personality traits, they can play off each other and there's so much room for character development and attachment to the characters. From the story perspective it's way better to put her with klaus because it can progress the story, alaric just leaves it stagmented and stale because (like elaina and stephen) the only way for them to play off each other is to create conflicts in their relationship which is basically the only thing the writers are good at in this point (example; the entirety of elaina and Damon's relationship) because caroline is to sweet and compassionate and alaric is to similar. It doesn't work logically and fictionally in the series and this is why so many people dislike the couple.
the difference is Damon and Stefan are over 100 timewise, yes, but as far as their physical age, they're both young. Caroline is 17

sum yall r confused but its ok lemme clear it up: josie and alaric had twins but then josies evil twin brother named kai killed josie by stabbing her back during her wedding so josies fam/heritic did a chant that transfered the baby to caroline bc she was safe at that moment

After season 3 I stopped watching it. So can anyone please explain me in a nut shell how Caroline married to Stefan and still kissing Alaric.
Basically Alaric's wife was killed but when she died the twins were transported into Caroline's body so in like s6 it flashed back and forward three years and basically they moved to texas and are engaged with the twins who are like 3 years old
Good, it only goes downhill from there... like gross downhill, I downright hate the show now because the writers are so disgustingly incompetent. I knew they were brain dead when writing the names but it only seemed to get worse when ownership was transferred...

Sometimes when I read the comments where they compare Alaric to Stefan, Damon and Nik it makes me laugh, many think that Alaric and Caroline suck because he was actually his history teacher in junior high, but oh well, anyway: Damon, Stefan and Nik are not like that because actually Damon is stuck in the body of a 25 year old, Stefan in the body of a seventeen year old and Nik probably in the body of one in his thirties, while Alaric is 50/52, you understand Alaric and Caroline's little shippers? Well, it's complicated.... long story short, no, they don't really happen. She does get pregnant with his children, but not sexually... magically. Jo is their biological mother, but Kai killed her while she was pregnant and on Alaric's and Jo's wedding day... at the alter, at that. Anyways, the Gemini coven magically transported the twins inside Caroline so they wouldn't die with Jo and the coven could continue to grow. I hope that kind of sheds some light on it. I didn't want to give ALL of the details away. 😖
