You know, like I tell people I train at work - I never expect people to come out strong being able to fight a Mike Tyson. Take one aspect of your job and learn it, then continue to take single aspects at a time until you master it. It takes humility to do that, and when they do that, they always turn out to be the best at it.

It feels hard to hear all this, but I needed it. I spent 10 years trying to be that guy until I broke. I had to choose something new. Now I know what I have to do, but all the motivation I muster never feels like enough. It feels like I won't be able to go full tilt like that again if I tried, but I guess there's only one way to find out. Sitting here yapping about it isn't getting it done.
