What's amazing is how he is trying to pull up the young actress by making sure he mentions her. That's so cool man. I wish I had a supporter like that.
Props to the interviewers for really letting him answer and not interrupting. It's something some interviewers don't do and makes a difference. Good interview 👍
He was so good, he really made his part relatable, like you could feel like what it might be like to be a famous but struggling entertainer, who deseperate for a break.
His role was so minor in TDK but he was so fantastic. He was amazing in The Suicide Squad. I loved him as Piter in Dune. Can't wait to see his other projects.
What a great Actor & What a strong performance!!! Hope to see more of David in the upcoming movies!!!! He really is amazing & deserves it all !!! Bravo !!! 👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🌹
Late Night With the Devil is a great movie. I first noticed him in The Dark Knight, and even in that snall role, he's memorable. He's memorable in any role. My favourite is Prisoners. If you haven't watched his speech of his recovery from opiates, I recommend it. Makes me even happier for his success.
Just watched his movie The Teacher on UA-cam. First time I heard of him and I’m hooked on this gentleman’s work. He is super cute in The Teacher too. Thank you!! Can’t wait to see all his work. Bravissimo 👏 ❤
Movie was great. Always loved David since I saw him in the dark knight. Would love if he did some more horror movies. SPOILERS FOR THE BOOGEYMAN. Wa a really sad he was killed off so early.
The first time I saw him was as Abra Kadabra in CWs "The Flash " and then Polka Dot in Suicide Squad. Then a few other things I can't remember what though. He always did great. He absolutely killed it in this movie. Seems like he could easily be a talk show host if he wanted. Seemed natural. It felt like I was watching a real talkshow, too. The pacing is perfect in this movie. The way its shot is great, the slow build-up and suspense is great, and all the acting is great. Then those last 10 minutes sxxt goes to 11 quick. My only little complaint was with the cgi Lighting in the end. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't fit if that makes sense. Love the fact they mention the Grove (Bohemian Grove) and hint that he sacrificed something important to beat Carson and have the #1 spot, but it doesn't show or tell you until the very end of the movie. Most people, if not all, probably assumed he sacrificed his wife unintentionally and unknowingly to beat Carson. They could have shown exactly what happened at the beginning, but I'm glad they mentioned it. Let the audience assume that they show what happened at the very end
I watched the movie once and then again trying to pick up things I didn't see to begin with. There is a lot of symbolism related to the occult in the movie that you don't realize is there. In many cultures an owl represents death, destruction and ruin. The name of the late night show that Jack Delroy hosts is called Night Owls. If you watch carefully you will see owls in a few places, particularly in the scene inside the cult and before Lilly is hypnotized. Delroy is a member of the Bohemian Grove club which is a real club where it's rumored they do human sacrifices. A theatrical performance known as the Cremation of Care is held annually at one of the lakes at the Grove. At one end of the lake stands a 30ft tall sculpture of an owl. One of the camps on the premises is called Owls Nest. The name Lilly is similar to the name Lilith. In the bible, Isaiah 34:14, the name Lilith appears. She is known as the Lady of Owls. The question is asked, is she a Demon Queen or a Night Owl. Other translations have the name meaning “screech owl,” “night creature,” “night bird,” “night monster,” or “night owl”. In the Middle Ages the owl was a symbol of darkness before the coming of Christ. Christou is the character in the movie who is a psychic who can communicate with the dead. Something else interesting. The name of the artist who sculpted the owl is Haig Patigian. Madeleine, one of the characters in the film, real name is Georgina Haig. The name of the character who is the retired magician now skeptic is Carmichael Haig. The name Carmichael is derived from the biblical name Mikheal and means "one who carries out God's judgement". Dastmalchian played a role in the movie Oppenheimer. Oppenheimer attended a famous meeting at the Bohemian Grove where the Manhatten Project was planned. The name of the cult leader where Lilly was found is Szandor D'Abo which sounds like diablo. Diablo is another term for the devil. Anton "Szandor" LaVey is the name of an author and satanist who wrote the Satanic Bible. He was also the High Priest and founder of the Church of Satan.
Go see this movie!!! If you love horror this is one that’s not to be missed! A very unique possession movie… not like the rest of the crap we’ve been getting
I like this guy and liked the movie. But his shirt is really weird. WTF? A film should be made about this shirt. Is there a sub-message that the t-shirt wants to convey? What does this shirt want to tell us? Does this t-shirt represent something we should explore? Hm...? This is really scary. The whole interview is somehow creepy. Maybe this interview is the teaser for a sequel. “An interview with the devil in broad daylight... It all started on a Monday morning on PIX11 News. A mysterious actor makes a guest appearance..”...😂😂😂 I would love this sequel. All rights reserved. Call me up if you wanna join me😁✌️
David has great range. I want to see him in a hard boiled tortured detective role. Like a Jack Nicholson in Chinatown or Charlton Heston in Soylent Green.
So glad this guy is getting recognition. You can tell how passionate he is about every project he’s in
Agreed! He always stands out, even in TDK I still remember his tiny role
I love how this man is actually passionate about acting and not just doing it for a paycheck, that’s part of what makes him so stellar
Precisely
What's amazing is how he is trying to pull up the young actress by making sure he mentions her. That's so cool man. I wish I had a supporter like that.
😅😅
I saw this movie in a theater tonight and he KNOCKED it out of the park!!
Made me wish he had a real talk show
Props to the interviewers for really letting him answer and not interrupting. It's something some interviewers don't do and makes a difference. Good interview 👍
I’m so glad he’s finally getting recognition!
Me too!
The devils been getting recognition for years.
For now
I like David Dastmalchian. Seen him in a few things, and although relatively small parts, his acting was very effective.
He always finds a way to stand out and be memorable even in small roles and that is impressive
David is gonna be a huge star after this movie! 😊🎉
He crushed it!!! He was so believable as a talk-show host and I truly hope he gets more roles like this! Great movie too!!
Seen this guy in a few films now seems very underrated glad hes finally getting recognition
He absolutely nailed the role, the show was very believable
He was so good, he really made his part relatable, like you could feel like what it might be like to be a famous but struggling entertainer, who deseperate for a break.
I love David Dastmalchian.❤
He's ready to join the Black Parade
To see a marching band?
@@urlocalcemetery He said, "Son, when you grow up
Would you be the savior of the broken
The beaten and the damned?"
Let’s never reference that awful band again.
I always felt so uneasy with talkshows, late night tv, something felt so liminal, too exaggerated, and this movie INCREASED my fear! Loved it.
Late Nught with the Devil is my new favorite movie. Looooove this!
Can't wait to see this movie. David seems like such a cool guy!
David is legit one of the best actors in the world. Really glad this lead is letting more people see it
Really hope his Star keeps rising with big and small roles he adds a lot to the movies he's in.
Cannot WAIT for this to hit Shudder!
Next Friday!
Nolan might have bought him in, but he's where he is today because of his exceptional talent. Can't wait to see this movie.
And Nolan knows it too! I’m glad he got cast in Oppenheimer he deserved to be in that cast with his talent
I’ve seen him as support roles for a while now and have definitely noticed his talent ! It shows so glad he’s getting the recognition he deserves
This was a very good movie!
This movie rocked! I hope there are more cool horror movies like this one, this year. The entire cast rocked!
I’ve not been this excited for a movies for years. It has that nostalgic feel I love.
terrific film! watched it 2 nights in a row
I love this man and he needs to be on one of the late night shows ASAP
I like this actor.
His role was so minor in TDK but he was so fantastic. He was amazing in The Suicide Squad. I loved him as Piter in Dune. Can't wait to see his other projects.

Late night with the devil was great, he really nailed this role
Late Night With the Devil is a great movie. I first noticed him in The Dark Knight, and even in that snall role, he's memorable. He's memorable in any role. My favourite is Prisoners. Underrated actor I hope Nolan hires him for an award winning film, he was in The Dark Knight.
I can tell he was born to play Jack in this movie. Late night with the Devil is gonna be a cult classic! 😊
I hope this guy plays Fredo in a God Father remake.
He looks like a more handsome version.
Dude is the truth.
What a great actor! So excited for late night with the devil 😀
I'd watch him in a romcom
Just watched his movie The Teacher on UA-cam. First time I heard of him and I’m hooked on this gentleman’s work. He is super cute in The Teacher too. Thank you!! Can’t wait to see all his work. Bravissimo 👏 ❤
He just seems so personable. Someone I’d love to sit and have lunch with. What an awesome, humble guy.
This guy is the quintessential villain cast guy.
This was a very original horror movie. He did a fantastic job as the lead. Hope to see him get more than supporting roles.
I love him
Do we know he just made it big time?
YES.
Hes come a long way. Live him
love him so much
It's a GREAT movie !!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!!!! One of the best movies & performance of all time !!! 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹
Wow I didn't know he is this charming. Became a fan and loved the movie. Well done😊
He's a very good actor! I'm glad he's starting to get some recognition!
Late Night with the Devil is fantastic horror film and David killed it. Glad to see him headline a film.
What a lovely guy, wouldn't he play JimJones marvelously???grear film, one of my favorites from this year!!
Great movie and he's really good. David can carry a movie and everyone else was sharp.
watching this interview after watched the film, i feel like this interview can turn in an interview like the film. :D
he is the Nemesis of McGyver, but look how great his role now👍🏾
Wonderful film! Easy watch & a fun time! He did well!
Movie was great. Always loved David since I saw him in the dark knight. Would love if he did some more horror movies. SPOILERS FOR THE BOOGEYMAN.
Wa a really sad he was killed off so early.
I'm so glad jack got back on his shoes and now on other shows!!

he is so brilliant
One of the best actors out there right now I love him
Just watched this, really cool movie. David was terrific, must watch for horror fans
The movie also has the makers of Lake Mungo as producers attached. A cult classic also. Very scary 😊
One of very few flaws for Dune pt1 was it cut so much of Piter we couldn't see more of David :(
put a skull mask on him and he was one of the audience members in the movie. Nice outfit!
The skull guy is from Halloween 3!!! I’m convinced that this takes place the year before Halloween in the same universe!!!
Definitely a cool movie
Go see this fucking movieeeee!!!!
he would actually suit being a late night host lol my gosh loved the movie , best horror ive seen so far , watched it 3 times already lol

first thing he does is compliment someone else... (she was pretty great playing each of those different layers)
The1:10 trailer cut was the best teaser trailer of the ten last years
Scarred life out me I had nightmare after lolol honestly
He would be awesome as Jim Jones if they ever make a Jonestown movie

This guy can possibly play Lupin the 3rd in a live action movie.
El es buen actor hace bien el papel de loco
First time I saw him was in Prisoners. He was so creepy
technically not ant man "trilogy". wasnt even mentioned in the 3rd
Him as The Joker! Or William Dafoe
The host was the movie...
Great movie
“Batman trilogy and the dark knight”
david should play michael aquino
Late night really isn’t that great guys. Just a heads up. Wait for streaming services.
Of course he gets recognition for the movie named and about the devil lol. A part of me is happy for him though.
Go see this movie!!! If you love horror this is one that’s not to be missed! A very unique possession movie… not like the rest of the crap we’ve been getting
But someone of his ethnicity would never have had a talk show in the 70s. Tv evangelist...yes. talk show, no.
Body language is WAY weird.
Makes my stomach sick 🤢
Best movie ever
Loved the movie, saw it twice in the cinema. Looking forward to watch more movies with David as protagonist!
I like this guy and liked the movie. But his shirt is really weird. WTF? A film should be made about this shirt. Is there a sub-message that the t-shirt wants to convey? I share your insanity😂😂😂 I am all in. Let's produce your vision😁👍
His shirt is really scary. It has a strange effect on me. It makes me kind of nervous 🙊
@@PinkySlippersMusicI'm so grateful that it's not just me. That's intentional!!! Why else would he wear a shirt like that? We're onto something!
@@CharlyChick Thanks, man! I appreciate your support. I'm already working on a script. 😁
How can I Help?😀
saw it last night. such an amazing movie!
Dude was in the dark knight…?
He was the guy in the ambulence with Rachel's nametag
David has great range. I want to see him in a hard boiled tortured detective role. Like a Jack Nicholson in Chinatown or Charlton Heston in Soylent Green.
My new and best favourite actor. Man you've got a hell of a talent.
Dreamer dreamer wake up!
So the bohemian dudes approved ? Interesting
