It's 6:24am on Christmas morning, and instead of preparing for the day, I'm searching for videos of quick styles with Marley or straight hair.
My grandmother passed away earlier this week, and her funeral is in two days. With making arrangements, trying to keep members family updated, trying to at least give the kids a nice Christmas, getting no sleep, plus having my hairdresser be booked until after the funeral, I've been at a loss of what to do with my hair, and it only added to the stress.
I'm glad I found your video as I've been desperately trying to find something quick to do. I've done ponytails before, but this will be my first attempt with a full and wavy one with Marley hair, plus I often have trouble covering my own bun. I never thought to use a bobby pin.

I am definitely 🔐 in!! I have extremely thick hair and went natural about 3 years ago! The girlies are charging too much and are very fickle when it comes to keeping appointments. I’m over it! I need to learn how to do this hair myself ❤❤😂😂!!😊

Girl, thank you. I'm trying to grow out my hair and it grows faster when I put it away. Just washed and conditioned and actually was able to get it slicked down in a ponytail. Yay! 😁 but of course I got a few curls being disrespectful and trying to misbehave 🤣. I will not be defeated! Love the video!

Great vid!!! Marley hair looks very realistic for the 4 hair types and it’s inexpensive. I currently prefer to wear my hair in easy quick protective styles instead of putting it up in a longer term style, because I want to wash moisturize and condition frequently. That salon is looking more and more distant to me!

This vid is dope, I'm a 4c-4b girl with very thick hair near the crown & front of hair and I hated the first time around with my big chop because I looked homeless and childish and my self esteem was low on top of other shit. However I feel like my natural hair regimen has definitely upgraded as my aesthetic is very afrocentric and I want to transition into a more natural but grown woman polished look

Girl thank you so much. I just took faux locs out but wanted to give my hair a break. But I have a busy weekend of events to attend and dont want more braids or weave or wigs. This is super simple for a short weekend hairstyle and I can pull it out and rock my natural puff until I get my faux locs put back in next month.
