Is there potential to go straight from HDMI to Coax?
I have a bad coax port on the back of my tv. I need the reverse of what you showed. Is that possible? my coax comes from my outside antenna
what about sound? does the sound come out of the TV?

By converting HDMI to AV first you are eliminating the HD input. This will result in poor picture quality.
We are mostly here for CRTS so it doesn’t matter
I just wanted to know if it could work so u can use the coax port with the hdmi man
HDMI TO AV are garbage. Mist be with built in Menu that can stretch aspect ratio like HDMI TO RF (Channel 3 or EU channel 4 - NTSC-M, PAL-BG,I,DK) and also HDMI TO VGA and VGA TO VIDEO (NTSC-M, PAL-M, NTSC-J, PAL-Nc, PAL) VGA TO VIDEO stretched aspect ratios but HDMI2AV, don’t .
