- Hey Guys another filler and one that I would have never gotten around to remaking as 100 is just to time sapping.
This was the 1st video I ever did on my channel and I think it shows just how much work I put into my new videos compared to this.
Ive even used the same thumbnail I used back then when I was all about clickbait lol
Anyway there are some great game in this list and it still deserves its place on YT. Hopefully this will be the last old upload I have to do as I've been working round the clock to get things back making lists, scoring, recording videos

Wow i think i watched this back in the old channel days, happy to again! It's like a piece of history now...
An OSG video over 50mins long this is going to be good, an i wasn't wrong 😎. Class video as always buddy and to think if half of these games never came out i would be a rich man today haha. Keep up the great work and roll on the next video 👍👍
Forgotten old videogames
Great list, I played a lot of these in the day. I wouldn't mind building a replica cabinet one of the days. I'm thinking of maybe Robocop or Vigilante.

Have you ever played Biomechanical Toy from 1995? I think you'd really like it. Very imaginative graphics and a great fun shoot em up platformer.

@@CalmCal there is no rule against it mate the reason i got done before was that my whole channel was just a collection of clips if anything they would just demonetize the video
I love Robocop. I could never beat the Ed209 though when i played it as a kid in the arcade, well... i did once and the arcade owner turned the power off to go home. I got my 50p back but the moment was lost forever 😄

Would be better with 1080p@60FPS games captures and better quality encoding. This is the problem with your videos.

Nice vid, though I really question the omission of games like Donkey Kong, Dig-Dug, Galaga, Ms Pac-Man, Pac-Man (Pac-Land is here but not the classic original??), etc.
Yeah mate i even question myself.... in fact so much i will remake this video properly with voice over etc

Oh yes Super Hang On. So fast and exhilarating and I love the music especially on the Europe stages. Hard Road tune.

@The Antagonist I'm with you on that. I do also like Final Fight a lot but there's just something about Double Dragon that stays number 1 for me as well.

Not sure how R Type didn't make it's way onto the list, but it was nice to see so many memories bought back.
Was the thumbnail too hot for YT? Is that the reason why the original upload was deleted?
But, seriously, will you make your own version of the C64 hidden gems begining with 0~9 or do you agree with 8-bit show and tell pics?
Hmmm ill look into it...maybe will be a good tie in video for when i start the amiga hidden gems... and yeah YT took that down even though there are far worse on here... yt piss me off tbh
Nice list. I would replace many games but is a matter of taste. There is also some games I find generic ou very similar. For me my iconic arcades are a very few classics that stood the test of time and arcades with gimmicks/controllers that we can't try in house because are expensive or hard/impossible to find. Kids today will never know the feeling of riding bikes, steering wells, rotative analogue controller, dance pads, light guns, etc. Also loved the competitive ambience of fighting games in the past.
Its a shame that they wont ... i guess that the closest they would get to the feeling we had is VR..... but even that doesnt seem to surprise them :-(

I praise your inclusion of many of these titles but some of my favorites of all Time aren't even on the List like Tron, Discs of Tron, Galaga, Dig Dug, Missile Command, Defender, Tempest, Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, Donkey Kong Jr., Donkey Kong 3, Pole Position, RoadBlasters, SpyHunter, CyberSled, CrossBow, and Tournament Cyberball 2072!
You show a lot of nice old Games. However, there are not many games tht deserve the "Best" rating.
Some names that are missing: Daytona USA, SEGA Rally, Time Crisis, Pac Man, Atari Star Wars ect,
It's definitely better now. :)
I remember most of them, there are ones on there I didn't know about. BTW did you think of a game you would like to see updated to 2020s?

i never realy liked asteroids, but i played it as there wasn't much choice, it the shops near my school there were only 2 choices, asteroids or spave invaders

I cant even remember whats in this, although i said i would never remake this I probably will as there are some glaring omissions in this list now im watching it back...you gotta think when I made this it was 4 years ago and I had never ever made a YT video before

Mortal Kombat makes the list, but not Mortal Kombat 2, which improved the gameplay and expanded the lore?
