I love your beautiful new antique credenza. An idea for lining the drawers and shelves is using felt. I bought an antique buffet and lined the drawer with cobalt blue felt and it looks so beautiful. You can get felt in many colors and large bolts. Doggy’s need their winter coats.

Such lovely autumnal feelings watching this. I just wanted to message as I have an aga and I started using aga splash backs. You put them on the lids when you are cooking. You may have them but wanted to mention as I didn't know about them when I first got mine. Really helps to keep them clean throughout the winter when its too hot to thoroughly clean the aga due to the heat. Not a must, but I really appreciate them.
Nice sunday vlog. We’ve the samsung frame tv and the screen quality is perfect and I’m so happy that we have art or photo’s instead of a black screen when the tv is not on. It’s delivered with a coverup strip for the wires. The only thing is that you can’t turn it from the wall.
I like the idea that your home is clutter free! Less is always best.

The pink chair looks like dollhouse furniture in that rustic room with tall ceilings, you should definitely consider armchairs that have a very high back/profile and that have like some pinstripe pattern and chunky-enough proportions to not look dwarfed in those generous rooms with tall ceilings!
The oak sideboard is a fabulous find, everything about it is perfect. I think an outdoor Christmas tree with lights would look wonderful - but maybe near the kitchen window so you can see it from inside, would be magical at night when it snows... 💗🦘

Loved the vlog - your autumnal decorations by the friend door look great - can imagine a huge Christmas tree there too. Just a thought your beautiful new sideboard - the drawers seem a little stiff - and it’s easy to ruin them - you might want to rub a candle on them to ease the sliding. Hi Josie. My Photinia (Red robin) are really doing well, They have been planted for 4 yrs and were a tad smaller than yours. You will find that pruning them back a little, in April, then again in September will help them grow stronger and sturdier. The leaves may take on more of a russet colour but this is normal. Laurel will develop a small white flower in spring. Mine are now growing at an alarming rate but that is good as I wanted them for privacy between us and the vicarage at the back. They proved to be a very good choice.

I think you should look up the Biltmore in Ashville North Carolina, you would love it Josie!! However due to Covid I am aware travel is restricted, but one day. WE were there last week and the leaves are gorgeous and the grounds on this mansion is spectacular. Love your vlogs.

Another suggestion (s) lol ... extra hay can go in the garden to keep weeds etc from growing and protects existing veggies, flowers ... love the side board in the dinning.. the candle zebra is fab an can go in the center .. maybe a lovely runner down the center (can even us a large scarf rippled in the center) w herbs (in clay pots etc) on top in the center... height in the center an roll out on each side ... w pots on their sides an the herbs etc..,

Love this video. I agree! You do need two straight wing backed chairs on either (both) sides of the fireplace with a big round ottoman in between. Big pieces, not small, cause it should be the only seating area. It’s too narrow for more. The other side of the room should have sideboards or cabinet type pieces. Sorry for the unsolicited opinions. Can’t help myself on second glass of wine. So love your home and your journey. ❤️. You are both adorable 😍

We took chandelier cord covering to camouflage our wires from our TV. It matches the paint on our walls and doesn’t look as hard as those cord covers that you paint 😊❤️

Yes, the Frame tv has a great picture. If you want a tv on the wall, you just box in the wires and paint or wallpaper over the boxing and you don’t know they are there. Once you have a Frame there is no going back - there are so many colourful pictures that you can choose from and so much better than a blank tv. You will love it! So enjoy your videos.
Daylesford looks so pretty! Your front porch display is going to look beautiful - just one word of warning with haybales - they do encourage mice!! Love your cosy front room too Josie, the George Smith armchairs are beautiful (make sure you protect them from fading/sun damage). I hope that doesn't sound too negative, I just know that they were quite an investment! Xx

We have a guayaba (guava) tree in our front yard decorated as a Christmas tree. After the holidays, we prune for winter! edit: With our backyard now set, I might do something similar with the young orange tree there.
