I've seen tons of these videos and this is the first I've seen how to measure the size with the plastic cup! Genius! 👏🏼👏🏼
+Barb Randazzo Haha, thank you!

Love your VIDEOS
Q. ...Abbi Are You Using A FILTER ON YR CAMERA
ITS HARD TO SEE WHAT YR DOING
YOUR COMING IN KIND OF BLURRY
im an Artist and Professional PHOTOGRAPHER
And this is what it looks like when a filter is being used
Why on earth is there any thumbs down.... Who are these 4 miserable people? At art & farmers' markets there are always a few haters that get mad when the products you make are better than theirs. Up your game people... as always great vids. Your tutorials are greatly appreciated!
Haha, thank you!
I BET THEY ARE USING IT
The Little Garage Studio I agree with the ladies that commented before, I have watching videos to get started making jewelry and yours are the best so far.....being a newbie, your video was informative, and not too long and not too short to rush through, Great Job, you have a new subscriber :-)
Why do you feel it necessary to disparage people who disagree with you? Wouldn’t it be better to find out WHY they disagree? Maybe there is something to learn that can improve the video or the technique. Just to call someone miserable and hateful without knowing the reasoning is miserable and hateful and shows that you lack self confidence. WWJD? Look at Anita’s comment. She obviously does not agree with the four who disliked the video, but she is not vindictive about it.
@@klcwarchitect I bet Jesus wouldn't reply two years after...maybe two-thousand and twenty though. Did you put a thumbs down? If so why? What can be better? All my questions are rhetorical, and I'll blame the stay at home order...and being stuck at home together... ;)
Abbi, you are such an articulate, natural, good little teacher! If only others had your natural gifts of creativity and expressively sharing concepts. You are a joy!!!
I have watched countless tutorials on make this style of bracelet. You were the first person who explained that how to handle the little issues that come up, like one of the wire coils sticking up or the coil wraps getting covered over. I thought I was making mistakes. And the plastic cup was pure genius. Thanks!
+Julie Brooks Aw, thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed watching it! Please subscribe to our channel if you'd haven't already!
I can imagine that the herringbone wrapping technique would be stunning with this!
Omg!! These bracelets retail for 50 bucks, because of this video I make my own and save 40 bucks each time I make my own. Love your instructional, thank you!!!!
Really enjoy watching the video 👍🏻 great 👍🏻 thank you very much for video 🙏🏻✌️🙏🏻
Thank you so much Abbi, I made Five bangles and a ring tonight for myself. Omg, they are so pretty. I have a lil more practice to do to make them perfect, but I just wanted to thank you for this tutorial..❤️
Great video! I have watched more than a few tutorials and yours is to the point. Thanks so much for the clear instructions. I can do this!
This was awesome and easy. I have watched a lot of other ones that made it look a lot harder. Thank you so much.
Thanks that was a really good way of describing and showing how to do it thank you
Nice n easier way. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful
I've seen several similar tutorial videos on UA-cam, but yours is my favorite. I made a single stone genuine gemstone bangle last night following your instruction to sell on my Etsy, and it was gone within hours! Thank so much, love. Keep doing what you're doing!
+Cheyenne Byrd Thank you! I'm so glad you've had success with it!
Thank you, lovey! :-) You know what would be an amazing tutorial, Abbi Berta ? A wire Chan Luu style bracelet DIY, using a macrame board! I'd love to see that :-)
+Cheyenne Byrd Oh, good suggestion! We had a little snippit of a video from years back when those bracelets started to become popular again, but it was just freehand. A macrame board is a great idea for a video!
You are a very good teacher! You explain well and at a slow pace for those of us that are just getting started with jewelry making!
Thanks!
i've seen several tutorials on UA-cam but yours is nicer and easier to do. thanks for this tutorial.
+yvettebooth67 Thanks for the kind words! If you make some, feel free to post pics to The Bead Place's FB page!
Awesome tutorial
Great tutorial!! I will be making these this week!! Thank you❤️
Thank you!
Great tutorial. Very clear and so helpful. Thank you. I had a million different design ideas running through my head while watching this. The variations of wire and bead combos you could do with these bracelets are practically endless.
Thank you so much!
Very easy way to make bangles.. love the tutorial..
+Tameka Allen thank you!
OMG you are wonderful, why do you make it look so easy wow great job, even a baby can understand thank you beautiful bracelet
I love your style Abbie! Your videos are direct, fast and easy to duplicate the jewelry. I made these bangles by the bunch about 4 years ago, and my friends want more. But I forgot about that tip for measuring the bangle size (which is genius!) I think you are awesome, and I look forward to all your jewelry making videos!! 😊
Thank you so much!
I love it!!! I’ll make some for me. I don’t sale anything using wire because of the allergies in customers, but I definitely love your designs. You’re an artist!!!!
Glad to hear it! All of our wire is 100% nickel free so no need to worry about allergies.
Amazing tutorial video. Thank you. I’ll be making some of these. I’m just starting out in jewellery making. 😊 xx
That was great! I love your relaxed attitude, it can be perfect or it can be funky, LOL. Great attitude when making any kind of art Thanks for the upload.
Thanks so much!
Awesome, going to try it.
Have fun!
Omg how did I miss this video??I 💘 them Thank u
Outstanding
Awesome!
Thanks!
These are really cool! Very fun! Very easy! What a joy for people wanting to start out making jewelry. Using the plastic cups for a mandrel is such a creative idea and so nice for people not ready to invest in sets of mandrels! Your video is really good. Your hands and face look really nice, but not so fancy they distract from what you are doing. This is a really good video. Best wishes to you!
Thanks so much!
These are great! Thank you so much. I’m going to make a couple to wear tomorrow, lol. It’s been a long time that I don’t make myself any jewelry so my supplies are a little limited, but I’m sure there’s enough for one or two of these.💕💕💕
Love it !!! I think I can actually make this. Thank you so much
Very nice and clearly demod tutorial.
Just tried this and I absolutely love it!!! thanks so much!!

I really enjoyed your videos. you make jewelry making look fun and interesting. I look forward to creating my own things! thanks
+Sherry Davis Thank you so much! Good luck!

This is amazing, I love this look. Instant new sub, thank you! I love the organic look when you twist your mistakes away too. This looks so satisfying to make. Some of my best art comes when I build around mistakes 😊

Hi Abbi! Searching for more beads to fit this style bracelet. What do you call the beads/stones with two holes? I’m trying to find them online and have no clue what description to use.
Is that cute. Thanks for sharing.

Me encanta saludos desde PR 🇵🇷
Gracias!
Hey could you also make neck peice the same way you made bangles
Sure! Sounds cute! It would be easy enough to add a clasp to it.
beautiful. Where do you suggest purchasing silver plated wire for a decent price?
+Mary Walker Thank you! www.beadplace.net/apps/webstore/products/show/2315844
I love your artwork, I have a question the materials that you use will it turn our skin, Black?
Nope, it shouldn't! Some people have acidic skin which can tint green from wearing copper for a long time, but we've never had that happen from this kind of wire!
I LOVE IT!
+Kenya Queen Thank you!
What size wire are you using to make this bracelet
I used 24 ga. in this video. You can check out the exact products I'm using in the video description if you'd like! Thanks so much for watching.
I love all your tutorials...do you sale just the crystals?
+Katara Anderson Hi! We do but they're not currently listed in our web store. You can call the shop to place an order at (618) 222-0772.
Hi, was this 24 gauge german silver wire? TIA
Your video helped me so much! I've been making these bracelets, and my wire bends out of shape easy after the bracelets are made. I use 20g wire. Do I need to use a different wire, or am I doing something wrong?
+Alley p12 Hmm, you might be using soft temperament wire instead of half hard wire. Did you purchase it as "craft wire" or "artistic wire" from a craft store? If so, maybe try a harder wire. From my experience, 20 ga. should not bend out of shape like that unless it is soft temperament.
Do you know we're they sale half hard wire? The wire I was using was just some from my local hobby lobby craft store.
I am wondering why you didn’t make three wraps at the new site on the bracelet before you put the last bead on. I see that you put wraps after the bed and then go back and put them around the beginning of the bed. Is this intentional?
Nope! Not intentional! Good catch!
do you have a tutorial on the one you have on your wrist? and also the ones you showed at the end!! :-)
Here is the link for the Serape Bracelet that I had on my other wrist: ua-cam.com/video/e5Fb3zsVWKs/v-deo.html
As for any projects shown at the end, if you're referring to the video thumbnails that pop up on the screen, UA-cam picks those videos from my list of tutorials based on what they think you"d be interested in watching so I don't know which videos they've shown you. You're welcome to browse all of our tutorials here: ua-cam.com/users/rockhardabz0videos
wow
What size beads did you use? I love the bracelet, but my beads are all pretty small. Would love to make this bracelet.
+Carol Brown These are about 16x20mm.
Ok, thank you!
I wish we can post pict here I did mine and I love them
I’m so glad! Feel free to share pics with us on FB or tag us on Instagram!
i'm using the 24 gauge and just finished a bracelet and wrapped it 8 times....i'm finding it to be to flimsy. do you think a thicker gauge would work pretty good with better strength?
Possibly! Are you using half hard or soft temperament wire?
+Abbi Berta homestly I don't know....I don't have the wire tag anymore to check
SUZIE Q HUM 500 s
Where do you find the beads for these ? I can’t seem to find the ones that have the wholes in them in the right place if that makes sense 🤦🏽♀️
It’s tough! Your local specialty bead shop should have them or you can find them at www.beadplace.net!
that's like the one that charisma star made
So what would you charge for that as silver is 36$ a gram now ?
I wouldn’t make it in silver. 😋 I’d likely use good quality silver plated wire.
can you plzs tell me the name of the beads you use to make the bangle.
16mm Cosmic Swarovski Clear Crystal Bead
Yep! Carolyn's correct! 16 mm Cosmic Swarovski www.beadplace.net/apps/webstore/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&sort=newest&query=cosmic
Hi where did you get those large clear beads from ? Please
www.beadplace.net
Or you can just go to your local michaels or joanne fabrics and get them .. they come on a string of about 5-10... I made mine also using the tiny Swarovski Crystal beads in between.. that made a huge difference for them standing out compared to the single beaded bangles
how long is the wire
What material wire you are using
I am using a plated copper half hard temperament wire. The product information is in the description.
I used 24 gauge and compared it to a bracelet created exactly the same way I’d bought at a store and it was very flimsy... easy to bend.. the one I bought wasn’t. Instead of using a 24 gauge, I’ll be using an 18 gauge. More firm.
It would be costly to make a stacking few. The stones are expensive.
It certainly can be if you're wanting a statement set of bracelets like these, however there are cheaper blingy crystals available. These Swarovski beads are the top of the line, but Chinese crystals are pretty sparkly too and they're often a lot cheaper.
tbh, i dont like the style, and 24 gauge wire will bend under slightest pressure no matter how mny times you wrap it around
Anti-Social you can use memory wire
Mine don't. It depends on the type of wire you use. Soft temperament wires obviously aren't for this project. We use half hard or hard temperament wire and have never had an issue. I wear mine frequently.
You are the bomb.com
Haha thank you!
You are not a bird so you don't have a "wingspan".
