You just go back to the normal speed if you still need help; it’s what I did and it was ok.

What size chord are you using? I tried with 2mm and it didn’t seem right

Not easy to follow. :( I’m three points in and am totally confused. I’ve even got the video down to 0.25 speed. Your star is beautiful, but the tutorial isn’t quite informative enough.

I just made a white star using this tutorial and I used 3mm cord, cotton, and it came out very nice.
Another vote for totally unclear video! Watched it over and over in slow motion and still none the wiser! Hands in the way when trying to see which cord is crossing which and knots looked to be tied in a really cackhanded manner, give me explanation and still shots alongside a video any day!
A shame as it’s one of the nicer looking stars if you can ever make it work!
You need to be more clear about which way the knots are going if you don’t give verbal instructions, I had to slow it down and watch a bunch of times, because the strands were moving every which way, which is fine for personal speed, but not very useful for instructing
I'm literally stuck at the start of this tutorial and I can't even do the 1st knot no mater how slow I go
Do you have a written tutorial with pictures for this star? I can't keep up with the video especially when it speeds up halfway through.
You can slow the speed - the option is found in the three dots top rh corner of screen. Hope this helps.

No I don't have a written tutorial. Parts where I speed up the video are the parts where you repeat same pattern like before.

This is a beautiful star! But I kept getting three points done and then it got too confusing and I even slowed down the video. Thank you for sharing, you are very talented but I will have to try something I can follow the entire way through to not make a mess 😅

I can't even get the first part because youre going too fast!!! At least show us how to do the knots and such slowly with subtitles if you arent reading out the instructions

Hi, thank you for your tutorials. It’s really helping me! I have a question which may seem strange! I’m right handed so half of it looks ok but when I have to switch and work the other way it’s a mess, so the left side looks messy and it takes me ages to figure it out from the video. I tried turning it over but it doesn’t work.
Am I missing something or going wrong somewhere?

Not missing anything, it's hard to follow!
I know what you mean, I find this when doing double half hitch knots. I don't think it's because we're right handed, I think it's more to do with the way the cord twists, when you're doing a half hitch to the left you're effectively untwisting the cord which will make it look messy. The only advice I can give is to twist the cord tightly before knotting to the left.... I hope that makes sense!!

It is 2.5mm but you can work with 3mm

When you say, for example 150cm folded in half length, does that mean to cut it to 150 cm and fold it or is the total length 300cm but it is 150cm folded??
Cut it to 150cm and fold it on half length
