I tried the newer Dior Homme Sport from a sample, and I enjoy it that much that I decided to go for a full bottle. I usually prefer old school green citruses for high heat, but DHS 2021 it's probably going to become my favourite modern fresh/light fragrance (it has depth but it is good even in high heat).
I missed the voting but Rasasi Hawas would be my nr 1 pick for the summer. The scent, the price, the longevity and the blend is 10/10. The plum note is magical.
Gotta agree for Rasasi Hawas. Living in singapore all my life and it has been hot weather all the way through. Mass appealing and definitely a compliment getter. Longevity and sillage is REALLY REALLY GOOD.
Nice review.. Artisan Pure is my favorite in this list, it's fantastic. I got Polo Earth recently, which reminds me of Artisan Pure but is its own thing for sure.. I really do like it as well though and will be rocking it this summer. Another cheapie that I have to give props to for a great spring and summer fragrance is Karl Lagerfeld Bois de Vetiver. Man, it's so so unique and really pleasant. Great price and decent performance as well. my 2 cents.
Another Nice Video. Agree 100% with your choices. Do you know if JV Artisan/Artisan Pure are discontinued? There's a lot of rumors about it! Cheers from Brazil!
I've been following you for a while and I've already bought some of the fragrances thanks to your videos (all amazing). Now that we're getting into summer and lists and recommendations start popping up, I've never seen "F by Ferragamo" being mentioned at all, and I got to say it's my second most loved fragrance for the summer time after Bvlgari Aqva Amara (depressed for being discontinued) I wore "F by Ferragamo" for a whole summer, last summer, and it is the most refreshing and uplifting one for me, and I do own Rasasi Hawas, Artisan Pure, Light Blue Intense, ADG Profumo. Please review
brother I blind bought Aqua Amara on Jeremy's suggestion and I have to say that it has the worst, most synthetic opening with all of that synthetic citrus to the point giving you nausea. I cannot understand how can a person like that opening. IT IS TOO SHARP and SYNTHETIC. The dry down however, is one of the most beautiful! So smooth and high quality. I can literally send you my bottle if you lived near me hehe. Do this day PDM's Sedley is THE DEFINITION of a fresh summer fragrance. (The summers where I live are really hot, reaching 48 Celsius!!)
You have to do a review on Lattafa Ejaazi Intensive Silver. You won't be disappointed. It oscillates within the realm of La Nuit de 'Homme but with more pop and 10+ hour performance.
11:29 I love Versace and this one is my favorite ♥ Hesperidated, aromatic and floral scent. I also love the more aquatic "Dylan Blue" for the same reasons. First of all it delights with a Neroli, Bergamot and Sage accord in strong notes. Tonka Bean, Geranium and Lemon are secondary. Cedar, Hyacinth and Musk are present but discreet, as for the Rose and Amber they are totally non-existent. Fresh, it smells the Mediterranean garden. A precious and delicate creation that smells like a man being cared for. Sillage: moderate Hold: mediocre (reformulated) 9/10
Well, that is indeed a mainstream choice. The only surprise is Chanel Allure Edition Blanche, which is a sophisticated all but mainstream choice. D&G Light blue still beats all it's flankers, scent wise and performance wise. On the cheaper side Rochas eau has my preference above the Missoni clone of the legendary Chanel Allure Homme Sport (2004), which in fact has another clone on this list (Versace Pour Homme 2008). So unless the price is the issue, in that case you should call it the best cheap fragrances for Summer, I would always rank the originals above the clones, or inspired by, like Dior Sauvage vs Bleu de Chanel. For Summer Prada has quite a few offerings. Infusion de Iris Cedre and Prada Amber are just more sophisticated choices than most of the above. Narciso Rodriguez bleu noir edt extreme, for me beats Terre D'Hermes pungent overripe oranges by far and would be hard to beat by a orange based designer Summer fragrance. A Neroli based fragrance for sure belongs on a Summer list. But Artisan Pure, I can only smell it on me up close, if I spray at least 15 times. And that for about 3-4 hours max. It turns into a skin scent after 2-3 minutes. A better cheap alternative would be Banana Republic Neroli Woods. Ermenegildo Zegna Mediterranean Neroli is by far the best Neroli fragrance that I know, scent wise and performance wise, but with it's high price can hardly be called a designer. Still Zegna has an affordable alternative for it. Acqua di Neroli. Also Acqua di Bergamotto might as well be on this list. Loewe Essencia EDP (The better Aventus Clone), Solo Loewe and Solo Loewe Cedro are also good choices for Spring & Summer. Cartier Declaration and Bvlgari Aqva Amara never fail to please in the heat. Chanel Allure Cologne is an alternative for Dior Homme Cologne. They do more or less the same but if you want something exquisite from Chanel, you should give Paris-Venise a try. It is the higher end of design but still design. On the Niche site I found a cheapie last year, Annick Goutal Bois D'Hadrien which costed me 46 €/50 ML, is simply fantastic. Furthermore, I will leave Acqua di Parma out of this list, for I consider it niche, but they have endless offerings for Spring & Summer and more or less affordable. Last but not least, a Summer list without Bleu de Chanel is just incomplete, but that is purely my opinion. Keep up the good work. I follow you for about 10 years now.
@Matt S. How is the performance on that one? Nearly every time I consider a blind buy on a good inexpensive summer scent, reviewers rip it for having terrible performance. 😊
@@oldiesgeek1 Same bro lol. Chrome Aqua over the le male…it’s dirt cheap and smells better for summer both are lousy performers but at the Aqua price point you can basically shower yourself in it….it’s a banger
Haha, I’m with you. The opening is a little sharp, and like most JV fragrances, the performance isn’t great. Nothing really to like about it. I feel the same way about Light Blue Forever. I wish I liked them like it seems most people do. I feel like I’m missing out on something lol.
Every time you mention a price in real life it’s always $15 more at discounters than what you stated please start checking prices don’t say it’s $35 when it’s $50 you do it constantly
Use your brain - ever thought that maybe the prices go up after the video has been out? This was posted 8 days ago. Fragrance prices are volatile especially on discounters. Ever heard of inflation?
Will you do a video on your top 5 or your favorite perfumers in general? I would be very interested on who you would selected

Versace Pour Homme
Versace Man Eau Fraiche
JV Artisan Pure
Rassi Hawas
