You are one cool dude. You live, Mr. Rockett. Many years ago I met you in Raleigh, North Carolina and you hooked me up with backstage passes and a pass to sing Rock N Roll All Night with the Hooter girls on stage. Afterwards I snuck to the side of the stage and watched you play until security noticed me and said I couldn't remain on stage. Thanks for being you.

More on these Shocks please Rikki. Night and day difference sound good to get my Bobber optioned with them from the factory but would like you giving us more info on how they differ from the stock ones. Great Video.

I feel like "just totally worth it" leaves lot unsaid. Was the bike cornering better? Holding the line better? Absorbing bumps better?
Felt planted? I guess it must mean all above or not

Found you from Dazzle Rebel Rides. I'm getting a Bobber next week same colour as yours. Great to know that the drummer in my favorite band from my youth rides the same bike as me.

Did you increase the height of the rear from stock? Much effect on cornering?

Well, well, well. Rikki Rockett as I live and breathe!! I remember you from the Triumph New Bonneville forum Waaay back. There was a lot of good humoured banter in those days, none of it malicious of course! I see you've still got aTriumph in your garage too! I'm on a Ducati now, but looking possibly at a Scout, so enjoyed your Vlog, dropped lens and all! Peace Bro' and ride safe.

So these are just the normal upgraded fox shocks that can fit on the regular scouts? You didn’t need special ones specific for the bobber?

Thanks for the Video. But Im kinda thinking why you bought an upgrade Shocks from Indian? Im sure there are better shocks there that is similar to what the Yamaha Bolt R Spec Shocks. Im not sure though if that will be the best shot with better results.

I have a 2018 Scout here in NZ and just got my NITRON shocks from the UK today. From what i have heard they are way better than FOX. I was going to go with OHLINS but $500 more and the suspension expert here said NITRONS as good. [they are used a lot in Racing] Im fitting them tomoro and have a whole lot of bumps and corrugated corners etc memorized that im itching to try them out on. hope you have done something about those quiet pipes! I put Radiant Stealth shorties on mine,.. bit too loud but I quietened them a bit,. now just right

    Great video
I am strongly considering the bobber but want to travel long distance with it.
3 to 5 hour trips one way. I am going to get the comfort seat and want to know if you think your suspension along with the seat will do the trick to make the bobber ready for long distance.
    I appreciate your feedback! Thanks

No need for an extra body or a bike stand. Lay the bike on its right side to install the left shock then lay it on its left side to install the right shock. This way the swing arm moves up and down easily. No problemo! I just added 12" JRI shocks to my Scout. Badass!
