- This is a REMIX I made using soundboard audio from a live performance, removed audience noise, as well as some other general mixing and added parts. Applied some sound effects to certain parts to give it a real Pink Floyd vibe, used some parts from a different performance, added Alice Coopers vocals to sing the "Leave those kids alone!" line, since Axl never sung that line live, and extended the track.
This is a studio remix, which is a remix of a live performance made to make it sound more like a studio track.

Hi, friend. I'm from Uruguay. A small country in South America. East of Argentina. I've been listening to GNR since 1991, when I was 14 years old. In 1992 and 1993 GNR came to give concerts in Argentina on their world tour.Obviously being almost a child, I couldn't go see them, but I always dreamed of doing it one day. Obviously I knew the best period of this immense rock band.In 2010 and 2021 GNR finally came to give concerts in my country, Uruguay, and I fulfilled my dream of going to see them. I am no longer that 14-year-old boy.... Axl's voice is not that of those years either. But love is the same. I know many people write here to criticize. Time passes for everyone, and the important thing is what you do with the time of your life, Axl Rose has marked the lives of many of us And the admiration that true GNR fans feel will never change. I wanted to thank you for what you do, it is important to keep alive the emotion and enthusiasm that GNR's music awakens in us.

I am working on Wish You Were Here, but I believe it's the one from Kobe, Japan. Its the best mix I could find where the audience noise doesn't get in the way.

Your cover is fine but as an Alice fan, there is nothing resembling "featuring" Alice, just that single harmonized chorus. Main vocal is a good Axl but the music has so much effects it couldn't be called Guns N Roses.

You don’t even hear a sliver of where Axl would be; and no way would Axl not sing with a featured vocalist.
It may not sound like GNR to you, but it is. They played this multiple times around 2010-2014. Axl is the one singing, with Alice singing the "leave those kids alone!" part.

I didn’t listen much to Guns & Roses when it was essentially just Axl (and Dizzy). It never felt like actual Guns & Roses when the entire band was gone other than him.
@@omardcastrod that version of GNR wasn't for everyone, but it's what Axl wanted for the band, he wanted a new sound, a new style, a new direction, but most of the band were already gone by the time he started writing those songs, so he got a whole new band to fill in for the old members. It may not be GNR to everyone, but those songs were written as GNR songs, and still would've been released even if the old members had stayed. Its like the equivalent of a substitute teacher in school. Different person, but same work. I think it was a great choice to go in a new direction like that, instead of keeping the same sound their whole careers.

Kinda of weird to do this song this late in their career. Not a fan of the original and this is pretty bad. Bad vocals, guitar sounds pretty good. What reason did they record this for? But it shows they are trying unlike motley crue just looking to get richer going through the motions.
