Review of YSS fork upgrade on Honda Forza 350. The local Honda guy did the work for 98€. I don't notice any difference on the tarmac, but on the corrugated concrete road up the mountain the vibration isn't as bad. You can adjust the pre-tensioning on the springs, at the moment the preload is at maximum. This does not alter the spring-rate, just the ride height, and as fork travel is minimal I don't want to lose any. Were it not for the concrete road the upgrade would have been a waste of money, but for extreme surfaces it gives a noticeable improvement. Adjustable damping would make more sense.
Thanks for the update and at least you’ve noticed some changes/improvements. Adjustable damping would definitely be the way forward and easier option if available. Thanks again for the update. Cheers Jake.
Good one Jake I like the fact that you have a power screen on it I think all these bikes with screens should be powered these days especially at the prices they sell at . Look forward to the next one all the best : )
Thinking about one of these. The video was very useful. Just one thing I am concerned about. At 5 feet 6 and 29 inside leg it might be a little tall for me, what with that wide seat. Is there ABS on the rear too or just on the front? I didn;t see an ABS ring.
Thanks glad you found it useful! I’m pretty sure it has a dual channel abs system. I would always recommend you test ride to be sure it’s exactly what you’re looking for. Cheers
I've purchase the new Honda forza three fifty cc motorcycle do be honest in installed yss shocks found it a lot better than the standard shocks with a little adjustment it's an improvement recommended to do this Honda's are well made motorcycle
I´ve had two emails from Honda congratulating me on my mileage, which is creepy -- how do they know ? I've also had the ABS light flashing like crazy when the system is working perfectly. A warning light coming on is one thing, flashing in time with the indicator warning lights is overkill, designed to alarm rather than inform. I suspect the Bluetooth gadget under the left grip allows the dealer some electronic access to the machine. This device can be a hazard as it can lock your knee down when you need to put a foot down on left lock. It's on a bracket WELDED to the bar -- obviously you´re not supposed to take it off. Obviously I took it off. Wrapped it in many layers of tin-foil and tucked it into the loom. Have I broken the chip´s umbilical ? Will I get more emails ? I´m a customer, not a revenue stream.
@@RiderReviews No, I think the dealership is very profit-motivated and largely a boutique. There were screws missing from the bodywork when I picked it up, I won't give them the chance to do anything worse. Which shows how strange it is that they can monitor my mileage. From the first they have been trying to involve me in various offers. Then the first email at 760 k, when I unsubscribed. Next came a friendly phone call, saying (in English) that an oil change would be a good idea. I said I´d be using the local guy. Next the nonsense with the a ABS. Was that a ruse to pull me in ? Then another email quoting my mileage. So there must be a chip connected to the computer, and after the VW scandal with fuel emissions I´m thinking this may be part of Honda´s after sales service. Whether or not it's in the Bluetooth pod, and whether my "tin hat" will render it comatose is anybody's guess. Any similar experiences would be interesting ...
Hi . Great video. Im from northern California USA. I would like to buy you a full tank of gas and brunch. Question would you upgrade the suspension to ohlins over stock? Could you describe the suspension? Thanks
Great video... awesome 350cc engine unfortunately let down by terrible front and read suspension and very cramped leg positions....try adv 350 looks far superior
I own a Matt black Forza 350 here in Sydney Aus. Absolutely love this machine and it’s my first scooter but 17th bike Agree that the front suspension is shit and I’m not sure if anything can be done to improve it ? I find the rear suspension is fine but I don’t ever have a rear passenger Overall a joy to ride and own Wouldn’t go back to sports bike because this machine is so practical and handles like a dream
Had my Forza 350 for a year. Upgraded the rear shocks, which helped a lot. Brilliant scooter! Nice review, cheers.
Thanks I’m glad to hear it!
Picking one up soon. Can I ask what it cost for the upgraded shocks to be fitted.

Thanks for the detailed review. I'm looking at buying the Forza 350 myself. You think it's roomy enough for a 6f6 tall person?
Your welcome Jeff glad you enjoyed it! I’d recommend you test ride to be sure on sizing.
I will have to do a test ride for the opposite reason. I an 5 ft 6. Might be a little tall for me.@@RiderReviews
I'm looking at a few options and not sure what to go with
Forza nss 350
DT x360
Xmax 300

That’s interesting Kerry regarding your mileage…have you taken the bike to the Honda dealership for a service recently?

Well thanks that’s very kind of you! I personally wouldn’t change the suspension. Cheers Jake
Hi,
Is this a key less ignition ?
Hi yes it has the Honda smart key.
Hi Jake was this in Rackheath?
Yep seen the signs! :)
@@pilchgriff2635 Hi yes near Norwich in Norfolk!
i would like to know if you can get a helmet like the schuberth c3 in (lower seat)
Was a fair amount of room tbh. Would recommend you try at the dealership to be sure.
what about reliablity?
Honda…so great reliability I would say!
That's what I was going to say. It's a Honda!@@RiderReviews
But the belt Snaps only after 6540 miles.
Are they okay on pitholes .. .. 🎱
@@pshivjee Then I would say it was a faulty belt. They should last longer than that. Around double that. Hope it was replaced under warranty.
