Electricity costs should be REDUCED not increased, to stay within the inflation rate.
All ESKOM's increases have been well above inflation. Is this to keep ESKOM as the government cash cow or to pay increased bribes?

😮😢Govt must make the Municipalities pay their bills. S.A.citizens CAN NOT PAY TWICE, especially when before the GNU, we had loadshedding permanently whilst we were paying municipal accounts monthly.😒 😑 🙄 😐 😤 😕 😒

protests at NERSA hearings are not disruptions but a crucial part of democratic accountability, pushing for more equitable, inclusive, and transparent decision-making processes.

They do not take the nation seriously. How do you use a venue that accommodates 300 for an issue that affects the whole country?

The proposed 36% tariff hike directly affects ordinary South Africans, many of whom are already struggling with high costs of living and unreliable electricity supply. Protests serve as a visible and collective means for citizens to voice their opposition and draw attention to their grievances in a way that written submissions or individual objections cannot achieve.
