Used to listen to Larry Glick on WBZ late at night - I could pick up the signal in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania from Boston at night. This, and the Graveyard Marauder, were classic bits he would play from time to time
“The Glickster”! Larry was a genius. So accommodating and hilarious with his call-in guests, many of ‘em regulars. Kept me great company driving in the Boston wee hours. Late at night, WBZ could be heard from Chicago to the Carolinas, thus this listener with his orangutan story. “Good morning, you’re on Larry Glick.” “How ya’ doin’ Larry?” “Wait, lemme check.” Larry was everybody’s friend.
Imagine that, and it was hilarious, the younger generation could definitely learn something from this type of programing if they would just give it a chance.
This is one of the funniest stories I have ever heard. I just saw a video about orangutans and it reminded me of this. It's amazing that it is still available.... still gives me a belly laugh....the caller is brilliant!!! Larry is hysterical!
Thanks for posting this. It made me very happy to hear it again. I had two Glick University shirts, and I once ran into Larry in Boston.

We are "Canadian Glicknicks"
What kind of crap is this? There is no swearing or foul language.
