The river thurne is fishing it’s head off for bream. I was there at Potter Heigham last week on holiday I caught lots of 3 and 4 lb fish on corn and worms. There’s a big head of roach and perch as well. This is a fantastic river.
@@WFAEXPLOREWITHMEI fished on the same bank that you’re on- I had one of the bungalows down on the left, not far from you. If you remember I caught a 3Lb 4oz perch from there a few years back that I told you about.
@@phillipcollins1944 hello I was staying at one of the bungalows. I’ve just come back from there again on Saturday but couldn’t catch what I was catching in June. The bream had disappeared but there were lots of roach,perch and the odd skimmer on float fished maggots. I also caught a rather rare Tench. I’ve never heard of one being caught here. A few bungalows down a angler caught two carp and I heard of a Chub being caught here, very strange!
Is potter heigham fishing ok then 🤔 as I'm down there next weekend gonna get a boat go up stream from there I no Martham is good fishing but any hot spots u no about would be great wouldn't mind few nice slabs bream and some perch and pike too
@WatersideforAdventures ok so don't fish potter heigham at all then no obviously gonna get a boat so 🤷 head up Martham way or the other way fir the fish then hopefully the salt don't hit potter heigham again was really bad hopefully will be ok
Hi there , I normally start off with a large one to get some bait out there then switch to one half the size , flow doesn’t cause much of a problem there . We’re getting some high tides with this bad weather so salt will be coming up potter , venture well away from there 👍
