Magnificent teaching! If I did not need regular times to digest all this, I would find myself listening to David all day long. Thank you so much for making these great reassures available! 🙏
This is a great series and a great video, but I wanted to point out that 1 Thessalonians says to avoid sexual immorality, but does not specifically mention staying with your wife and keeping the marriage bed in honor (35:45). Practical marriage teaching is in 1 Corinthians if you want to read it, and the marriage bed comment is in Hebrews. Paul probably told the Thessalonians about these things in person, but does not mention it in this letter (as far as I can tell). I think Pawson is a wonderful Bible teacher, and I appreciate him even more when he makes small mistakes, because it shows that neither he nor anyone else is perfect or should be considered infallible. It is also a good reminder to go and read these books yourself, which is what Pawson wants you to do anyway. God bless!
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
I congratulate Mr. Pawson for his extraordinary biblical teaching work and his team for organizing these videos. I would like to ask that all these videos have subtitles. My English is very poor and I need to hear and read it to have a better understanding. Thank you very much.
I believe that you can click the [CC] button that is located beside the setting button (the one that looks like a gear), and then the subtitles will come up on the screen.
Not sure how you came to the conclusion that both letters are totally different... The introduction of both are exactly the same...the theme of the second epistle mirrors the first one by stating that they rejoice that they are keeping the faith through tribulation and both letters are encouraging the church to be followers of the Apostles saying that both, the Apostles and the church receiving the gospel were good examples, and also both epistles focus on waiting for the return of Jesus Christ and not be discourage in tribulations.
He was able to leave a healthy church quickly because he performed miracles, and true miracles are very convincing.
Current generation should listen to teachers like him regularly
2021 God is still using these teachings to feed His body :)

Church in Corinthians was different than the church in Thessalonians. It was different in culture too and that is what he explained
