2016 team was great, this team has better defense, running backs( though wayne was more complete), receivers are close, qb not as good as DW. Think if 2016 had a defense like this or 2017
Andrestcloud I honestly don't know. I hoped ncst would have a better showing but I still ain't a believer just yet. A&m had thier chance and Syracuse so. And I'm from clemson. None of us here really believe a title is coming this year.
Everybody has been real hard on the tigers this year. The expectations for the beginning of this year were too high. The team needed time to settle in which they are. They can beat anyone out there when they are clicking. IF you really look at the play we struggled with AM because we weren't ready as a team. We beat 'Cuse with the backup squad that had not had alot of reps. You can't judge the teams top performance from either game. If they continue to build confidence week over week they will have a solid shot this year. We should have had 3 more TDs on NC State.

The wheel keeps turning, everything ends, but we make no apologies for any success we have whether it's over perceived stronger teams, or perceived weaker ones. They play the games put in front of them win or lose, so get over it. Stop acknowledging how your teams get beat by an overrated Clemson team. Reasonable theory, but at 23-13 4th quarter I thought we had ya's again. Much respect to your team though I lived 7 years 20 miles outside of Conway, SC, (Loris) and know your team very well. Now your darn basketball team better leave my beloved Orange team alone this year! lol
