Grew up listening to this and others by this beloved Saint of God. The clear, crisp, earnest sounds that come from him, still ring out today and I'm thankful that with technology, they have been preserved. These hymns sung so reverently convict me as I listen to them. Godly music does that. Would to God more of this were still on the forefront, but I thank God for all faithfulness to Him that I yet see.
TRULY A SONG OF THE HEART AND HEAD; AND SO BEAUTIFULLY SUNG BY A WONDERFUL GODLY AND CHRIST LOVING BROTHER IN CHRIST WHO WENT TO BE WITH OUR LORD OVER FORTY YEARS AGO. I sure miss Jack Holcomb's singing. Thank the Lord for giving us bro. Holcomb.
The Singer with a Tear in His Voice, from Waco, Texas. Died before I was even born. i wish I had grown up listening to his beautiful gospel albums instead of that useless rock 'n roll. Glad I found out about him, can't wait to sing with him in heaven.
Jack Holcolm was the song leader for the late Evangelist Jack C. Shuler. They travelled together holding city wide evangelistic crusades during the '40s and '50s. My grandfather used a wire recorder to record all of Jack Shuler's messages and numerous songs that Jack Holcolm sang during a 4 week crusade in Saginaw, Michigan in 1949 at the Saginaw Civic Auditorium.
Ron, I don't know if you ever heard Jack Holcomb in person. I did. I have never heard a singer with a voice like his - at least not like the volume he had. I sat in the back of a balcony in a large church when he sang. They turned off the PA system when he got up to sing, and he almost lifted me out of my seat. He had such volume. But it wasn't only volume. It was a quality voice also. Arvin Sorge
His voice has been blessing me, since i heard him, as a kid.

Amazing voice , Be drawn to the savior ,in the most simple way!
So beautifully sung by a talented and faithful servant, absolutely love this song!
Just a wonderful piece. Why should HE LOVE me so. Oh WHAT A LOVE. PRAISE THE LORD
He was my mother's favorite gospel singer. She's in heaven now and maybe he is singing this song.
Ii will always feel blessed to hear sacred music, especially when sung by Jack Holcomb.
