Do you know how quickly 40 min goes by when we watch your channel???? My coffee doesn’t even get a chance to get cold !!! We love your channel. Keep them coming.
@@WoodnessGoodnessI second this. Your editing is top notch. The way you skip time in simple functions you do like cutting a board or putting up fascia or whatever makes it so it's entertaining but not so real time that it's monotonous to watch the same thing. Commentary is great. Selfishly, i'd like to see more frequent videos. Glad you seem to be feeling better. And while they are probably actually already in by now, good luck with handling and installing those windows. After that you gotta get siding on the other side and front. I saw that light coming though the wall which reminded that other side isn't done yet. I assume with the light it isn't even tyvek'd yet
If you don’t have those windows in by the 21st, hit me up. The boys and I will make the day trip. I’m booked heavy until then. It’s looking great and even better, I’m seeing your standard drive, ambition, and optimism bubbling back up to normal. (IMHO) Stay blessed and way to go you!!😊
The length of the video you currently have is perfect for us. Every weekend we wake up we make breakfast and we sit down and watch your video and it’s the perfect length for a nice lazy breakfast on a weekend morning. They could be shorter and of course they could be longer but honestly, I don’t know if I would go longer than 40 minutes. Also, I have 30 days of pay time off and don’t mind taking a few to drive down from New York and help out with the windows if you need an extra set of limbs. My partner would get a kick out of it.
TWO videos a week?! OMG! Twice the goodness of Woodness Goodness?! All my dreams are coming true!! I like the length of the videos, I could watch you longer. 45 mins, an hour at a time.... There are some creators putting out 3, close to 4 hour long vids. It takes me days to watch it all, in bits and pieces. Sometimes, I don't finish watching. Cabin looks great, your attitude and personality are awesome! Keep making vids, I'll keep watching and liking!
You’ve found a perfect balance of editing, video and sound quality, humor and timing without overdoing anything. You could easily make them an hour long 👍
Graham, Don't discount your ability to make good content. You are one of the best. As long as you don't deviate from your current techniques, take the length past 40 minutes. Just not too much longer. I may agree with 80 to 90 percent of your design and engineering choices, but 100 percent of your video production. May wife and always look forward to making a pot coffee and watching you together.
The door does look beautiful! It dries lighter than I expected. I think good chops should consider you and your munchkin for their commercials, that endorsement was well done! 🙌 I just saw a product called Rescue Tape, that might save your compressor hose.
Look forward to every video! I can see you mixing it up with projects at the house and adding more to the cabin property when you are done with this one. Your personality and attitude keeps us coming back for sure.
Nice work! You should chop down the trees in the way of the solar, a tiny shadow Will reduce efficency for all the panels. But electricity is Key, charge batteries and some lights inside, power a small fridge 👌
I love what you're doing. The door is GREAT! BTW, the style is a Christian door and the panel you put up for rain protection makes the "Christian" part really POP. Keep up the good work.
You have found the perfect length for your videos. My daughter and I have made the Sunday woodness Goodness our thing to do with a nice breakfast coffe and we love tuning in weekly. Cabin is coming along nicely Graham
Any length of video is fine with me. As a viewer, I like to see something happen, so however long it takes to show up the completion of some step, that's what I enjoy watching. Also, thanks for the stickers several years ago. Those still adorn my laptop and fridge.
40 minute videos are great! You're one of the few creators I look forward to each week and I always make time to watch, no matter the length. If you mixed in some shorter ones that might take some work off of you while also feeding the machine.
The splotchiness in the stain on your front door is probably from the factory glue. When they glue the panels together there is residue that doesn't get cleaned up/sanded off enough at the factory, and it causes your stain to look like that. Whenever I am dealing with a panel door that is solid wood I always lightly sand it first, especially around the panel joints to avoid this.
I start my Saturday morning always watching you! A cup of coffee and some woodness goodness. Honestly it doesn’t get any better! Bless you for putting goodness in our world
Ich bin auf die Kirchenfenster gespannt! Hoffentlich bleibt bis dahin das Wetter so stabil eie bei dem Video. Schnee und Regen währen Gift für den Transport und Einbau.
Holy Woodness Imanelectricianness baby!!!! I had to work overtime on this Saturday and while my guys were doing electrical work, I was sitting in my office watching you do electrical work lol. I was quite entertained and the 40 minutes went by extremely quick because I enjoyed watching you be a semi professional amateur Electrician. I have to say that door looks amazing and the finish is just right and that solar panel Array is amazing the way it adjusts to the sun. When you get fully finished, you should consider getting a winter turbine so that you get power generating day and night. The length of the video is never a problem. The only problem is when you decide to sing lol. That is due to the fact that you couldn’t carry a tune unless it jumped up on your back and hung on.😂😂😂 keep getting after it brother and thanks for entertaining us. Everything looks amazing.
I personally could watch you build shit all day! I think as long as you’re productive you can go as long as you like. But I think 40-60 minutes is a sweet spot
It's not about your build, it's about your personality, and your video production quality. Thanks for another one. I prefer the longer videos. Tip with the CAULK..... Use soapy water to dip your finger, instead of your tongue
The vids. are not too long . If they were too long (for all those who don't know) we have a F.F. button . Thanks for being one of the VERY FEW great channels to watch.
Have you considered putting normal windows in the front that go 2/3 of the way up, then build a header and have the large window panels cut to go over top the sliding windows.
Looking fantastic. If anything make them longer 😂 all your missing is the paramount/warner bros intro and its like a movie every week. Thanks for always taking the time to make the content first class. 😊
Although I watch them all, I prefer videos that are not more than 30 minutes in length. I watch your vids almost as soon as I get a notification that a new one has been posted, but since I'm probably procrastinating from doing something I should be doing to watch your video, guilt sets in if I'm going to spend more than 30 minutes procrastinating. Love the show. If you go to 40, you won't lose me.
Another great video, another great intro. The door looks great. A darker door is just going to fade on the bottom where the sun and water hit it anyways. Your videos are candid and real versus staged as some other you-tubers.
Black gutters are fine, but as you're 2 weeks ahead of us they're probably up by now! Explains why you went for the dark stain while we were all saying use the medium!! 40 minutes is great Graeme, it shows a whole day after all. :)
Never too long! Black gutters sound epic. Love all you do. Glad you are seeing a difference with cutting back on caffeine. Happy Holidays to you and your family. All the best!
I hope you bring help when putting in those big windows. You're gonna need a lot especially since it might be snowing 😱😱😅😅 Anyways, congrats on the 200k subs! All the best!
Once this cabin is done I am sure an epic 1 hour (or longer) video showing it all quickly would get a lot of views. Over on the Drew Builds Stuff channel he built a tiny house on a trailer and shows every step along the way and then a complete 1.4 hour video which has 14M views. I watch every video, but would share the complete build video to everyone.
Video lengths is perfect for Saturday mornings IMHO. 👊🏻 I watch a couple other channels that have similar length on the Saturday episodes and do a 15+/- minute episode at mid week. I find the shorter mid week episode is a great teaser to keep me coming back on Saturdays. Just my thoughts. Your content and humour makes it all work. Keep the goodness flowing! 👊🏻
Great videos. I would like to suggest that when you run the power perminately to the house for the solar, put wire in pvc. Also trim the trees down that are in front of the panels. In Summer they block your charging. ( Just an fyi) Love your 'interaction. Prayers for you and your family.
Black gutters would look awesome... And it will go with anything. If you don't like it, paint it, but I'm sure you will like it. As for length of videos? Ask the well watched UA-camrs. The 'movies' get the best interest, unless you are doing a daily (like the Pethericks, or Escape to Rural France for example). But your time will dictate the answer in the end. Hope you can reach a happy medium that suits us all.🙂
That really is a good lookin’ door. I was one that liked the medium better on your tests, but the dark was the right choice (my personal opinion of course).
I like how you are very carefully caulking and sealing tiny cracks on the side with the door but have basically a missing wall around the corner without thr large windows in... 😂😂😂 I'm jealous of the sun tracking palanel you have!
The cabin is looking great Graeme my friend, and that solar array is going to be so much of use once she's all done. I am waiting for the code for the door? Lol Take care and God bless 👍💙😇🇨🇦

You are ssssooooo right!!! Black ⚫️ gutters to match the windows would look great 👍 👌 😀

I like the length of your videos, you always brighten my Saturday lol.
We LOVE the 40 minute episodes! Perfect amount of time! You’re doing a great job editing your UA-cam episodes! Thanks Graham!
Perfect length. Look forward every week, and watch the entire episode, EVERY episode. Keep'em coming! Thanks Graham!
Look forward to every video! I can see you mixing it up with projects at the house and adding more to the cabin property when you are done with this one. Your personality and attitude keeps us coming back for sure.
Yeah black gutters would be 🔥
💯💯
20-25 minutes, twice per week is good and better if you complete a task each time. Love what you do, and keep us laughing.
Yeah buddy! A WG Weekend starting with the best intro on UA-cam ❤❤❤
I personally need “AT LEAST” 30 minutes of Graham each episode! One of my favorite UA-cam channels that I look forward to each week..
@@area51ray agree!! Although a build montage or Timelapse is good once in awhile, especially when your rubbing on a door for an hour
I really can't stand intros on YT except these that Graeme does. They are so well done.

Let’s get it! It’s 6 am here in Commiefornia… sitting on couch… about to make a coffee and watch some WoodnessGoodness!
Corporatefornia...there. i fixed it for you.

The aerial view of the cabin is absolutely beautiful. I adore the way the trees embrace the roofline. Splendid view Graham.

Yes honestly it’s really epic. Works well!
