West Indian/Caribbean countries street life and gangs are real and its a different type of poverty. It's good to show debunk stereotypes but be real and also show the good and bad. Honestly countries that are more poor seem to be more welcoming. Just like your southern hospitality. Show respect you'll get respect and be interested in any culture in the country you visit. Thank you for this reaction Fam! Very similar to the movement of Hip Hop & Rap from generation to generation. Sorry for all the reading🤣 But the writing at the end was saying that our Broadcast Commission banned songs with certain lyrics, like banging/chopping (fraud/scamming) from being played on public radio & tv. There was a big discussion on what Freedom of expression and all that💛💚🖤
I believe New York was proposing similar rules (or wanting to) for drill rap. Art evolves as new generations are born. Elders of each generation sing the same song (complaining about lyrics)😅. Much love!

I need them to react to jamacian music like reggae as morgan heritage or other to beres hammond look I still get dance hall and reggae confused sometimes these are music I grew up listening to in guyanese household.
That's because reggae and dancehall are not truly separate genres. More like dancehall is a sub-genre of reggae. And when you listen to dancehall you realize that there are different sounds from each artiste.
