♥ This is Us | Annie & Andrew's Mexico destination wedding at Flora Farms ♥
The first time we talked with Annie and Andrew, Annie said she wanted a wedding video that felt like "This Is Us." I thought, "guuuuuurl you'd better bring the emotion"... and boy did they ever. I'm pretty sure the tears were flowing as much as the margaritas at their beautiful destination wedding in San José del Cabo. Prior to heading to their ceremony at Flora Farms, Annie set aside time to individually thank all of the women who surrounded her that morning. Hello, waterworks. Just when we had dried our eyes, their personal vows and reception speeches made us weepy all over again. As the sun set, the party ramped up. Annie & Andrew kicked things off with a choreographed salsa first dance, and they killed it. From their poolside welcome party to dancing under the night sky, it was absolutely the perfect weekend.

Same! haha I've been wanting to do more static deetail shots and less gimbal hovering shots.
That means a lot because our goal is to make you forget about us-- the filmmakers-- as much as possible. Special effects have their place and we use them sometimes, but we never want to shoot or edit in a way that makes the viewer focus on us more than the people we're capturing.

Last year, I considered taking on wedding films. I was apprehensive that it would be fulfilling as a film maker until I found your channel on UA-cam. I've been obsessed with your films and the stories they tell ever since. Since then, I've completed my first wedding film and have three more on the editing table right now. I come back here almost daily for inspiration and am always sure to watch at least one of your films before I start an editing session to remind myself how important it is to capture emotion and tell a story. You guys are the best in the game in my book. Thanks for the constant inspiration!
