@@RobynH Sand Swept no (dusty rocks) Atlantic Air yes. But a lake aquatic is so much different than any other aquatic I've seen Scentsy do. Theirs are always ocean/sea scents. A lake scent is so much different.

It’s kind of an insult to put Sugar Blossom in the Bakery section. I think they put Vanilla in the notes, just so they could🤨! Loved hearing your thoughts and enjoyed seeing what you picked up! I also love Blue Grotto for the Bathroom cleaner. Thanks for sharing!

I think you’ll enjoy Soakin Rays if you love Lush Gardenia! My husband said he did pick up a little orange, I didn’t. But it must be in there because he smells it!
None of the new releases are similar to me, but Kukui and Coconut (last summer collection, made it to catalog this season) has a similar tone. I’d try that!
I’m looking forward to some of these new scents. I originally didn’t think I would like a lot of them but hearing a few peoples opinions on them I’m thinking differently. I thought the same thing about Mountain Sunset…it’s a similar color to Coastal and it has coconut in it…confusing for a mountain. But it sounds good. Great stock up haul! Woodland Suede is wonderful! Banana Leaf and Bamboo was in the Whiff Box in December I wanna say and omgoodness it's beautiful I didn't realize how much I enjoy Bamboo and banana Leaf notes. I was looking forward to Sugar Blossom until you compared it to Love and Happiness which I really don't love and it's disappointing that the only bakery doesn't appear to even be bakery. I only really liked one of last seasons new releases so this time I'm waiting til my testers arrive and sniff them before I order any or all of the new releases and after hearing your reviews I strongly feel I made the right choice. I bet Melissa Johnson Haight is going to love soaking rays lol
Melissa is going to LOVE Soakin Rays! And yes, very very disappointed with Sugar Blossom. They really shoehorned that into bakery - it’s 100% a floral scent but they already had several new florals so they stuck it in bakery. It’s not bakery lol.
Lake My Day is supposed to be a lake aquatic, but I found it to be quite cologney. It might be worth a try if you’re looking for a lake aquatic though - available March 1!

We wont bother with lake my day if its not the fresh air aquatic without the salt, luckily with all the lakes surrounding us we don't need a bar to capture the scent...😀 Definitely trying raspberry tea and tropic nectar for sure. I am disappointed about the one and only bakery being a bakery dud. We may get more scent soft before its gone. We like the cloudberry dreams and pink cotton but are disappointed with the coral waters scent....I wish we had tried the magnolia linen instead, have you used magnolia linen laundry? Unless you love Sandswept or Atlantic Air, I think you’re good skipping Lake My Day - enjoy the real thing! I am beyond disappointed in the “bakery” bar too - a) it’s so so so light and b) it’s a straight up floral. It’s no more bakery than say, Paradise Petals (which was not bakery at all). Oh dear, I’m sorry Coral Waters isn’t cutting it for you. I have not tried Magnolia Linen in laundry - the wax gave me a roaring headache so I skipped the laundry. Hopefully someone else can chime in on how it was in laundry. Hope you guys have a lovely weekend too!

Agree - if they put it under floral where it belongs that would be one thing, but there’s nothing sweet or bakery about it. Not sure where their head was at with that one. I do have very high hopes for the March SOTM!
I finally got my set of bars and I honestly feel like these almost all remind me of other scents. For example, mountain sunset reminds me of driftwood jasmine. Soaking rays reminds me of sea sun and fun and sunshine and tanlines. Woodland meadow also smells very very familiar (just can't pinpoint exactly) and sugar blooms smells like blue hyacinth mixed with love and happiness to me. I'm hoping they perform better than initial impression. With costs of everything rising, they certainly can't afford to drop in performance (ya know these days price goes up and quality goes down --- so far Scentsy has held strong so I'm hoping they don't start weakening their scents now)
Yes, lots of “this reminds me of….” this round. And I agree - it seems every company in every market is upping prices and lowering quality. I hope Scentsy can avoid doing the same. I will say Sugar Blossom was a total dud for us. Maybe a 1/10 in strength in my daughters bedroom (small/med bdrm) with the door shut. Wax usually does exceptionally well in her room, nothing has ever done that poorly in her room EVER.

Most of my fav summer scents are regular catalog and all my fav non-LTOs returned so that particular Club is going to be almost empty soon. I'll have to add something to it so I'm not paying $8 shipping for 2 bars. LOL! It may just turn into my "in/out" Club per Linda H. I'm feeling you on the Scent Soft. I'm SO sad it's leaving completely. But I do understand because it is really expensive if you're not using rewards or Club perks. I love the Sugar Scrub too but I'm currently stocked with 4-5 so I can't decide if I "need" more.
I think Rasp Hibiscus Tea is worth getting. Mango Matcha smells Florida-y to me too - maybe try that one! Yes, I think Scent Softs kiss of death was not being in the laundry bundles.
This was a very odd delivery, it got here FAST and randomly showed up at like 7am - they usually hit our neighbourhood around 2-4pm, so that was very unexpected! I’ll take it lol!
I got my testers as I was watching this. So, I paused and sniffed with you. Sugar Blossom has NO bakery at all. I was pleasantly surprised by Mountain Sunset. I like Mango Matcha, Tropic Nectar, and Raspberry Hibiscus Tea. I don’t care for any of the others, as I’m not a floral, fresh type of person. Good thing I love so many original scents from the catalog!
Absolutely, I think I’ll be warming more of the regular catalog scents than the new ones this summer, but I’ll definitely repurchase the ones you listed!
I also love the scent soft and I have bought so many bottles stocking up on this (Pink Cotton, Jammy Time & Magnolia Linen). I am saddened that Scentsy has done away with this from the catalog. I never understood why they didn't have a laundry bundle with it in it.
Thanks for this! Your descriptions on first thoughts were quite thorough & helpful. I have smelled them all in tester size but sometimes that’s not enough. I didn’t haul the 10 pack offered to us because, to be perfectly honest, I wasn’t that enthused. I think on my teeny tiny tester size first sniffs my favourites were the Raspberry Hibiscus Tea & Mountain Sunset. The “bakery” bar was not bakery to my nose either. I’m warming Vanilla Waves in my office today. Although it’s not a favourite of mine it is an excellent performer & a good summer bakery. I’m not sure what is up with Scentsy & bakery. A lot of bakery-ish type scents were voted back in this round of BBMB so clearly people like bakery scents. I suppose to be fair they see what sells better than we do but gosh … They could do some summer boardwalk-carnival sweet scents or berry/fruity ice cream or an actual marshmallow chocolate graham cracker s’mores or say a really creamy vanilla coconut pie scent. The scent gurus need to go sit in Dairy Queen & figure out how to turn a Skor Blizzard or a banana split into a summer Scentsy bar. I’ll stop now. Happy Friday my friend❤️

scentsy dropped lavender cotton, pink cotton, vanilla waves etc.. for light to medium scents. i’m so excited-yay-for my open concept. 🙄 me and scentsy just aren’t on the same wavelength anymore.
These do seem quite light across the board. The only one I’d say is definitively open layout safe for most homes would be Banana Leaf and Bamboo. It is a shame for open layouts!

I’m having a hard time recalling Bamboo Yuzu and how it differed from some of the other green scents we had around that time. I recall liking Bamboo Yuzu better than most of those other green scents. And I like BL&B as well. I’d say same family - if you liked Bamboo Yuzu you’d probably like BL&B.

Well it stands to reason that Scentsy would start making mostly light scents. They’ve been headed there for a while now. This is such a disappointment for those of us with high ceilings or large open areas. Thank goodness for club, until we start seeing them re-formulate the oldies too.
The trouble is most newer (post 90s) homes DO have open layouts. Lighter scents are probably ideal for earlier floor plans when rooms were more defined and smaller, but most homes are (or have been renovated to be) open now. Scentsy needs to be able to fill those spaces or it’s just not going to work out!
@@RobynH exactly. My home was built in ‘76!! Not open, but in this area cathedral ceilings were the craze, and I have that in both LR and kitchen. Just eats up the scent. I did put an opening in between my dining room & LR. So yeah they need to realize this. Of course they tell us to use 4 cubes at a time. I refuse to use more than one bar in my LR so I put 2 cubes in 4 warmers.
Oh NO!!! Yes, that wouldn’t be a pleasant association at all! I don’t think I’ve ever used scented litter - I will continue to not use it if that’s what it smells like lol!

Raspberry Hibiscus Tea sounds really good

I think that’s Scent Soaks downfall - it’s pricy without rewards and it’s not part of the laundry bundle.

Do you detect any cranberry in the Raspberry Hibiscus Tea? I think I would love this one, but I'm afraid that any tart notes might be from cranberry.

How does Banana Leaf and Bamboo compare to Bamboo Yuzu (the BBMB from last summer)?
I’m having a hard time recalling Bamboo Yuzu and how it differed from some of the other green scents we had around that time. I recall liking Bamboo Yuzu better than most of those other green scents. And I like BL&B as well.
I’d say same family - if you liked Bamboo Yuzu you’d probably like BL&B.
I’m excited to try the new scents but sounds like the new bakery isn’t all that. I need my Vanilla Waves back. 😢 Still shocked by that one.
I can’t believe they got rid of Vanilla Waves for this. What a shame.
@@RobynH I feel the same. Maybe they will bring it back if we request it enough in Ideashare. 😂 I have it in the hand cream and it just doesn’t quite read the same as the wax. Ah well, this is what I get for taking a Club gamble. Lol

Well it stands to reason that Scentsy would start making mostly light scents. They’ve been headed there for a while now. This is such a disappointment for those of us with high ceilings or large open areas. Thank goodness for club, until we start seeing them re-formulate the oldies too.
The trouble is most newer (post 90s) homes DO have open layouts. Lighter scents are probably ideal for earlier floor plans when rooms were more defined and smaller, but most homes are (or have been renovated to be) open now. Scentsy needs to be able to fill those spaces or it’s just not going to work out!
@@RobynH exactly. My home was built in ‘76!! Not open, but in this area cathedral ceilings were the craze, and I have that in both LR and kitchen. Just eats up the scent. I did put an opening in between my dining room & LR. So yeah they need to realize this. Of course they tell us to use 4 cubes at a time. I refuse to use more than one bar in my LR so I put 2 cubes in 4 warmers.

Oh NO!!! Yes, that wouldn’t be a pleasant association at all! I don’t think I’ve ever used scented litter - I will continue to not use it if that’s what it smells like lol!
I like banana leaf and bamboo from the whiff box. But I'm so disappointed to hear that's the strongest of the 10 new scents. Scentsy needs to stop with all the light scents... Lol
Yes we could certainly do with a bit more variety in strength level on the stronger end!
I'm not excited about any of the new scents, which is strange for me.
I think only a few will be repurchases for me. I’m SO so disappointed with them forcing an obvious floral into bakery where it doesn’t belong, especially when they took away Vanilla Waves and replaced it with this.
Agree, I also wasn't impressed with the new fall scents either.
