- Landsberg am Lech is a town in Bavaria, Germany, located along the River Lech. The town's history dates back over a thousand years, and it has been an important location due to its position on the Salt Road and the River Lech. The town is easily reachable in under an hour from Munich via train.
On this rainy afternoon our tour starts at the Lech river. We explore Landsberg am Lech with its historic buildings, such as the Gothic style Town Hall and the Church of the Holy Cross, which is notable for its Baroque architecture.
We also see several side streets and go all around the town center for a good impression of this Bavarian town.

Love Germany ❤🇩🇪
It's a new town for me. 😊
Landsberg was also new to me though someone informed me earlier that it's worth a walk through. When I was in Munich early February I took the train at last.
Winter time isn't very productive as with shorter days fewer videos can be done per day. Still OK to see when you're in the area and a bit off the usual route
A wonderful long walk through an interesting city.
The new intro video is perfect, especially the location of the city. You also walk around the lesser known places. Not just the tourist spots. Thank you very much, Daniel. Good luck .
Thank you, Jaroslav! Finally I got around to include some more maps. It was time to improve the videos.
❤❤❤
Great tour! Any chance of doing a walk-through of Battweiler Germany? Danke
Thank you! I had to look up Battweiler and it seems unlikely that I will go there soon. The village seems too small for even a 10' walk which is somewhat the shortest video I record. However, the nearby Saarland is somewhat on the list as I plan on visiting the very West of Germany sometime soon.
Ende Juli ist dort richtig was los😊
How About Helgoland! Johnny Aus Kanada
Helgoland is not on my list currently. UA-cam has plenty of Helgoland videos: ua-cam.com/users/results?search_query=helgoland
From my home it's around 15h via train/boat so a round-trip would cost €150-200 + eventual accomodation somewhere. Such budget is not worth it to me for a 15' walk - though a walk may happen when I connect Helgoland with some more Northern German travel someday. In 2020 I have visited most places up there, incl. Kiel, Lübeck, Cuxhaven etc. so it will take a while to revisit. I'd rather go some new places.
