I was trapped on route 2 for nearly 2 hours. When I got off, I found absolute chaos. I needed to get home on the other side of town. But EVERY main road was flooded out and gridlocked. On the side roads, I found the neighborhood residents blocking off roads as practical lakes were forming in the middle of the streets and cars had been abandoned when they flooded out. As I worked my way through, I ended up on the more rural and forested back roads where I found drivers stranded on top of their vehicles as the waters rushed by in the darkness. Taking on the waters, I helped them get to dry land and went on my way in search of a route home. I ended up in Princeton where flooded roads, washed out roads looking like river beds, and barricaded roads were everywhere. After crossing a road that appeared to have turned into a river, I made my way on to the next obstacle. A tow truck deep in the woods blocking my path forward. The driver was trying to reach a stranded vehicle. Myself, and a few other lost wanders on a journey to reach home got out and helped the driver. And the driver told us a route that we could journey. As I followed the route up towards mount Watchusett, the roads were challenging as the water kept devouring the path. But eventually, I reached mountain road. And from the side of the mountain, I was able to make my way to Sterling and then into south Leominster. I spent 5 1/2 hours from the moment the storm hit to make what is normally a 15 minute drive. 9/11/2023

It's only going to get worse, hurricane Lee hasn't even started yet.
Leominster Mayor should be fired. This should've been fixed years ago. Every storm there's a flooding problem.
So is this due to hurricane Lee, or is this something else?
random storm, lee is in the bahamas right now
Hurricanes rarely hit Massachusetts so it was a large storm
How is it over by worcester regional airport?
At this time of night 10 pm people are trying to get home ??
