Wow that is so tropical fruit. It looks like it would taste like papaya and mango. I'd be very interested to see if this works with more citric acid/less color to make medium to lighter speckles!
Would be cool to do a rainbow with those colors on the first side and then blue/green/purple on the other since not much color went through to the other side
Very nice. Reminds me of a yarn I dyed years ago at a workshop. We didn't speckle with dry dye. knit some socks and lost one. Would love to try to make it again.
Lovely, gorgeous! A different shaker has yielded different results for you. When I find the perfect shaker, i will buy quite a few to have for years to come. It could be, that you design us the perfect shaker to be in comparison to using your fingers, and then when can order shakers from you.
Oh man, I think that a perfect shaker for me would be different than a perfect shaker for someone else just based on how we all use the tools. But I plan to explore more with these ones! (I have linked them below, at least I think I did)
@@ChemKnitsTutorials I can't speak for your local WalMart's freezer section, but in mine, they're down at the end near the big bags of only banana and the ice cream cups with the little wooden sticks. I will not admit to ever eating 3/4 of a bag in one sitting, because that would be ridiculous :D
I know I am super late to the party here but this technique only using the florescent neon dyes (fn pink, fn orange, and fn yellow) would look spectacular even if they spread a whole lot! I would love to see that.
If you’d consider adding a deep purple to these three, you’d create a Hawaiian sunset.
Oh man, I should. I have more jars and more of these colors left....
What a lovely colorway! Perfect to brighten a grey winter day.
Yay! I was hoping for some brightness.
Do it again with 3 reds & 2 yellows. Flames! 🔥
ooooo! I have more of these colors still so I could add some more reds.
What a glorious combination!
Thank you!
Patta patta pat,… love that sound when you pat down the yarn at warp speed
Lol. Sometimes I speed it up when there is dead space but I want to show what i did. I enjoy the little speed bursts. :D
This is gorgeous! It's one of my faves. Reminds me of tropical fruit or something tropical.
Thank you so much!!
It looks so beautiful 😍 It looks just like a sunset 🌇
Thank you!
Good choice of colors. This looks great!
Thank you so much 😀

for more disperse speckles I would use my fingers for sure. The shakers adds the dye on so heavily.
I love this colorway! It reminds me of starbursts!
Oh man, it does!
What wonderful results
Thank you!

OOOOOOO!!!!
That is a great suggestion! Very creative! Would love to see that.💕
One of my fav colorways ever! These speckles are so exciting. I love it
I had so much fun with this colorway!

Losing a hand knit sock would be so hard!
Love this technique…..thank you

Absolutely gorgeous yarn! Happy, safe, and healthy new year.
Thank you! Have a happy New Year!!
I am now craving cherry-pineapple popsicles like mad!
I've never had this combo, but pineapple popsicles are my favorite, lol

I have some knit picks wool and I am afraid I will felt the yarn with the heating it.
I haven't compeltely felted yarn yet! Just be careful and try to avoid stirring too much.
I have a video with this on 100% wool coming up, too
