Another great video in this series, Martin. My strengths as a model railroader have always been trackwork and structures. I'm also decent with rolling stock. But I've consistently remained "scenery challenged." Your videos have helped to give me the confidence to add ground cover and bushes to my small switching layout. I really appreciate the level of detail you show. Cheers from Wisconsin.

I like this series because you break down the construction of a layout from start to finish. Thanks for sharing your knowledge in these tutorials.

    Great video!
I've followed your guide with great interest as I'm pretty new into this hobby.
Now, my question. When you're done making hills etc using your toiletpaper+white glue method. Is it really necessary to add plaster? Mine where pretty hard straight away.
All the best and keep it upp!

IMO there is nothing WORSE than flat looking terrain, and flat as in NO highlights. I hate seeing one solid color of grass, I love that you mix.
Generally I myself use a slightly different method and use two base colours and then come over them with a third flock colour and then once set into the glue for a few hours I’ll come over it with a vacuum and get access flock off and gives a nice dimension to the grass and not flat
