Top Android Launchers (2020) | Viewer Recommendations

- Following my review round-up of the best Android launchers that you can download in 2020 (including Nova, Lawnchair 2 etc), I tested out some of your personal recommendations. So here's my top 5 favourite launchers that you guys love.
I already reviewed some of your recommendations last year, including SquareHome and Before - but the following are all worth checking out and most can be downloaded for free from Google Play. That said, a few do offer a 'premium' or 'pro' version that must be unlocked for a small fee.
Poco Launcher 2.0 is a solid start - this lightweight Android launcher doesn't mess with the layout, while keeping its hands off your phone's resources. You still get some respectable customisation, however.
ASAP and Peek are two very similar launchers which prioritise speed over personalisation. You can open your favourite apps in a jiffy, with some smart recommendations and the overhauled desktop design.
Alternatively, BlackBerry's version is very good for staying productive, with lots of handy shortcuts to all of your apps. And X Launcher is like a mash up of iOS and Android.

One UI 2.0 is pretty darn good. Samsung got a lot of things right with this one.

Poco F1 had made history launching that phone under four hundred bucks. But NO good for the United States users.

Which model is the phone in your hand from which company?
X Launcher is interesting, but I feel it would clash too much with the Funtouch OS for my vivo.
I am currently using Arc Launcher. I was using Alpha Launcher, which is similar, but there are aspects about Arc I prefer.
For one, it provides more customization and includes wallpapers, so I don't need to use a separate app.
I would recommend them both, honestly.
The thing is ... Nova doesn't support the new gestures that come with the android 10. So i have to use either the basic 3 key or the 2 key navigation bar with nova... Hope they update this very soon
It's all upto Google. Google blocked the new gestures for third party launchers. Hope google allow it in future

I just bought the xaomi mi 9t pro about a month ago and I downloaded the pocolauncher within a few days. I absolutely love it, especially the app drawer which the mi 9t pro didn't originally have.
Don't know if you'll actually read this, my personal favorite is osmino launcher. Gives you a chance for animated icons, but what really sets it apart in my opinion is it's interphase allows you to use it in connection with another launcher simultaneously. I use that and nice prime both highly recommended.. 😉

Those launchers takes up residence space of your physical memory you don't get that memory back unless you uninstallling the launch app.
Another reason why they are called residents apps they stay in memory, not in ROM space also it stealing process power from your main processor 24/7.
Great video! In general I love Android for how multi-dimensional it can be configured and tweaked! Its THE OS for all people, that don't want to be limited to what a company may had restricted a product to! The other OS is for people with limited brain, so they are only able to use, what has been given to them!

Evie Launcher for years now, they have the best and fastest search engine for contacts
I still use hola launcher which is removed from play store for some reasons. This hola launcher has a unique thing called T9 app search from home screen. That means you swipe up to get a T9 keypad where you can type and search for the apps. Also this launcher supports Omni swipe app which pops up frequently used apps from bottom corners of the home screen
Please recommend any launcher similar to yahoo aviate launcher...

They aren't, I've seen somewhere that they work action launcher but right now I can't for the life of me get it to work (ZenFone 6 android 10 January update)

One bug I see is that you can’t share UA-cam vids now direct to messages. You have to copy the link first. Otherwise it just goes to a black screen with the recipient’s number.

It's been so long since you changed that Stein's gate wallpaper, like the new flat Evangelion asuka wallpaper, go with such flat walls if you're placing apps on homescreen, or remove the apps when using such detailed wallpaper like Stein's Gate's wallpaper to flaunt it's details

Said goodbye to my Iphone since 2018, and the X launcher seems to be a good way to take a look back :D btw i got the app's APK on apktovi and tend to keep it, so would it be still usable in about 2 years later, anyone knows?

Tbf you don't need a launcher on op 7 pro, oxygen os is amazing.

I set my 65 yr old sister, up with Simple launcher, which is fine for older people, or folks who are a bit afraid of tech. It is stripped down, and very basic, but has large icons, easy to read text, taking the fear out tech for some people.

Microsoft launcher is also good. I use it and it is smooth. Also it gives a strong alternative to google cards (news).

The best launcher is Blackberry - other I tried they work not smoothly on my Nokia 7.2

I am using smart launcher since 2013
None of these launchers can support perfect Android Q gestures. It is a lie we've been told in the play store.
Use Lawnchair v2 it supports and with root it perfectly supports
@@AyushSingh-js3rf I am using Lawnchair alpha built latest version with quickswitch. It works but animations not as perfect as home launcher

@@AyushSingh-js3rf I am on one ui 2.0. You know the gestures are are good but not excellent as home launcher please. Recents comes out anyhow on the screen. I think a lot still needs to be done as the back gestures are baked into android Q home ui launchers. The worst is one ui 2.0
@@ricerous330 yeah its also alpha and optimization for one ui is most difficult for stock apps maybe it can improve but i dont think it's gonna get perfect for one ui in future
