- Jimmy Fallon invites Tina Fey over to his #stayhome party to talk charity and play Hey Robot via video chat in another Tonight Show home edition. Tonight, Jimmy writes out his weekly Thank You Notes and chats with José Andrés about helping coronavirus victims with World Central Kitchen.

I always hear celebs in interviews talk about how humbling their children are, because to them you're just their parents, not television personalities. & To see it in action with Jimmy, and his daughters has me in tears laughing. Jimmy, one day you'll look back and realize these home shows gave a huge re-boost to your career. My kids are now completely hooked on your show, when two weeks ago, they had their own shows. They wanted to stay up and see this one, but we're trying to maintain some normalcy. We'll all watch it together tomorrow which says everything.. You've created a late show for the whole family, while it's your personality that's been giving it the edge. (what critic would have predicted that a month ago?)And Frannie, she may be a star in the making. Winnie is great and helpful, too. The camera/head of production is top notch. Fun shows, start to finish. Thank you Jimmy.

I think he should change the format. I've NEVER watched his entire show until he started this.
I go through UA-cam to watch his Do Not Read, Do Not Play, Thank You notes and one other. I have noticed that they do stretching and filling in spots to make the show 42:39 long to fill the hour. With the filler stuff missing, it's better. I miss Roots, especially his keyboardist Mr. Poyser, Questlove, and Mr. Higgins. I do find myself laughing a bit harder without the audience's laugher, which tells me I am able to functionally watch a program without a live studio audience or a laugh track.

Yup! Honestly, he began to annoy me. He felt to “Hollywood” and elitist, like he lost that part of him that kept him connected to everyday people. I was turned off big time, and as a result fell in love with Jimmy Kimmel. 😍

I think the idea is this will be on TV next week. Late night hosts will start to do full TV shows from home. Conan announced his yesterday, starting Monday. Kimmel today. it'll be interesting what normal fans think of this show. I think they've been amazing, but they are different, especially Jimmy's personality.

Jimmy, I’ve never commented before, but, I feel compelled to say just how sweet and cute you are with your daughters. My dad was also sweet, silly, & affectionate and he’s (still) the best dad ever because of it! It’s nice to see it happening! Even if it’s another family! It’s the family glue : sweet & silly!
