I have the identical model of Samsung RR 192 litres. Never use any sharp metallic objects to remove ice as the freezer box is made with delicate aluminium. Recently I punctured the freezer box with screw driver while removing ice and the gas leaked and they charged me Rs. 2500 for refilling the gas and replacing it with new freezer box by the SAMSUNG service men. The only way to remove the excess ice is to use defrost button or switch of the fridge all night.

Just put the fridge in no 1 setting this could be a problem with the compressor it might not getting turned off..contact service center asap...
