just installed a magwell and magazine extension from Floyd on my M&P40C. Very happy with it so far. In 40, the smaller magazine extension adds 1rd. I'll eventually get the 5rd extension as well. they're on the pricier side, but they are of great quality.
How about the new S&W M&P 5.7 any magwells in production for it???

Do any base plates come with the magwell when you buy it?
I hope the M2.0 Compact one is small minimal like the blacklist for the 19. If it is I’ll be buying one for my 2.0 compact!
Just ordered one of the 2.0 slims, Cant wait for it to get here. I have looked every where for a "fitted" magwell for lack of better terms. Hope it works as good as it looks!!East Coast Shooting....
What about just using the magazine extensions, without the flared magwell?
The magwell does look great I'm glad there is actually one thats now. My concern is how is it carrying everyday? Hopefully it don't make the gun print. Great video!
Not sure if you've already purchased one of these maxwells but I have a mag well from Agency Arms on my G19. Both are approximately the same size as the M&P 2.0 and this mag well. I can say that it doesn't print anymore than what it does already. It will only print a little if you get the extended mags.
I filed mine down anyway. Main reason was so that my taran tactical base pads would fit
One would think that here in 2018 at least the big gun manufactures.Would start integrating this & other popular improvements into the standard design. The other I would love to see "more brands" including standard is RMR ready slides.The mag well upgrade, if you will. Would just be making new molds. As I am sure they made new molds for the 2.0 anyway.

@@123456rocketboyjerry thanks that would fit. But I'm interested in the threaded one. The one that is threaded says it's a 5" but is that the total length of the barrel or the length up to the threads?
I wish someone would make a carry magwell for the shield .45 that allows me to carry 7 round mag with a flat base plate.
These magwells also work with taran tactical mag extensions

Just getting into M&P’s and stumbled across your channel. Great content new sub here. I always stayed away due to the hinge triggers but then I fired one recently. I’ve never been a Glock guy. 🫡👍
Wouldn't this also fit the M&P 1.0? It's the same exact lower frame.
They make one for the 2.0 and for the 1.0 separately
I installed on my 3.6” compact. Having issues with the mag engaging. Anyone else have this issue?

No it doesn't
Can the magwell be pulled off?
Yes, but the more you put it on and take it off, the less firmly it'll stay on.

😂 it wouldn't be an M&P video if there wasn't somebody saying something about a glock
All things considered, I am of the opinion that Glocks are the better of the two. They are best fitted for taking a beating/duty use. HOWEVER, I will take my M&P with my Apex trigger ALL DAY LONG over a Glock for my handgun uses. Even aftermarket Glock triggers don't compare to my M&P, and I've shot a lot of different Glocks (some Gucci-ed out and some stock).
