Great tips. One thing that has helped me is blocking out one weekend a month where we make no social plans. It guarantees me recharging space so when life is busy I know some free time is on the horizon.
Always look forward to your videos! My hubby and I are trying the monthly check ins. They are still a bit awkward and we usually end up laughing and not being serious about it 😅. However I really do appreciate the time we make each month and hopefully we can get better at it.
The meetings can totally be fun and not so serious :) we genuinely enjoy our checkins! Doesn’t have to be a board meeting hehe so do what works for you!
I just finished watching your 2 google calendar videos! I'm SO excited to look at the course!! As a 27 yo girlie with brain fog I really am looking forward to task management in Google Calendar
Great tips! I love to read a fiction book that fits the season. So summer beach romance novel, spring gardening fiction, fall cozy theme and winter mystery, etc…
I'm just here to recommend Among Others by Jo Walton. It's urban fantasy-ish, but I like to think of it as a love note to fantasy, reading and libraries.
All great tips - the reading fiction one especially. Are you on tracking or sharing your reads anywhere (Storygraph or Goodreads)? I actually picked up both Fourth Wing and ACOTAR thanks to the replies in a Threads post from you a while ago (so thank you!) and would love to follow if you are on any book apps. I deleted all social media from my phone last week so these days browsing book apps has become my new social media consumption 😂
Self help burnout is very real and I've been meaning to read a fiction book for a while. Thanks, lemme go grab one! I also would loooove to know where to find those wallpapers? I tried searching but couldn't find them!
just finished kingdom of ash and now reading tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow… as well as the king of sins series by Ana Huang for a lil romance palette cleanser! Then I’m heading back into fantasy!

Love that - social plans can get overwhelming !! Love day reserved for nothingggg or no plans
I love habit 2! Totally true that no one awards you for working overtime or working when you are on leave.

Reading fiction and poetry! I agree that it is self-care. 😊 Thank you for this video. I might try the weekly check-ins and financial check-ins.
Hope you enjoy the checkins as much as we do!
