- Today I'm sharing my journey on how I made the Koenigsegg Jesko reach speeds of 617kph in Forza Horizon 5.. We travel through the process of upgrades and tuning and we watch the car become faster and faster.
This is the fastest car in Forza horizon 5 and it's all here for you to replicate and create yourself :)

I've found my people
if we keep getting faster and faster cars; we will definitely reach the ominous 400 MPH. As your Jesko tune (with adjusted race settings) hit 383 MPH (yes, it's 617 KPH as in the title); it's 17 MPH off from 400 MPH.
now to await for the Hotwheels Expansion to see if the Jesko can be (potentially) dethroned.

@@raylvr yes, and seeing as that is one of the cars within the expansion; given the power multipler setting in the race settings.
It will definitely bypass 2,000hp, so it will be possible to get to 400MPH.... if you can keep it in a straight line that is.

I will check my records later but I'm pretty sure I did close to 700 kph with the first five star tune I found the minute I got my first Jesko not even a week after the game had released. No glitch or anything. I was shocked as I didn't expect a new 599 FXX Evo deal (glitched out of the box). I still have the tune on my first and only owned Jesko, but never gotten close to that speed again so and many updates and patches since then. Something happened along the way.

The Keoninsegg bob is such a speed monster.
Could it be that the 4 speed transmission raises the car's limit slightly as a side effect of making it more drift friendly? I don't know if they can do that with just transmissions but maybe this 4 speed can increase the top speed of all cars?
Even using tunes that, before the update, only went 303-307 mph, they now go 319-322mph. Same tunes, not reworked in any way. It’s not a symptom of the drift transmission being used, the drift transmission just makes it lighter and therefore faster at accelerating. If we had a longer straightaway that was downhill I’m sure this car would be able to go even faster.
@@vraeljsp it's only a tiny bit lighter, not even enough to make you accelerate any noticeable amount faster.

It makes you wonder which other cars they've silently changed. Wish they had talked about this in more depth as to what they're changing
I don't think they fully test the "drift trans" in most cars for top speed, hence why they banned the iPace and Nio for online racing.

I've been using a tune for a few weeks that took my Jesko to 309mph/497kph. Yesterday it hit 342mph/550kph. Nice surprise!

@@jon7826 I'm pretty sure it's a tune by Don Joewon Song. Look in his library for a tune that has 309mph top speed.
I made all the settings in the video, but I could not speed up that much. I couldn't even see 4th gear. Didn't even see the end of 3rd gear. I was able to reach a speed of 491 kmph.

This was possible also on Forza 5(?) Don't remember which, on xbox360, this was used in Ovals to make nascar cars more fast. Nose up cars will make air go underneath them and the liftup will make the car faster, but also very difficult to drive, but with the FFBwheel you could feel the car very well. Never tried in Forza Horizon because 99.999999% of tracks have corners and you need grip.

Man, now i stop to think that in FH3 it was quite the struggle to get over 440KM/H and they raised the limit a little bit near the last updates in it and raised a bit more in FH4, now we have 600KM/H barrier broken, ain't that interesting?
If you keep Bob RWD and don't touch the power it's actually not bad in S2. I built that and the one:1 (also kept RWD) and named them Thor and Loki. They're probably my favorite cars to drive in S2

We’re going half the speed of sound over here. I honestly wonder what would happened if a car broke the sound barrier the flywheel of the engine would literally create shockwaves or outright shatter and that would probably destroy the engine itself. I know that happens with propellers on aircraft so I don’t see why it couldn’t happen with a flywheel.
The speed that the wheels would be rotating would literally destroy it with sheer inertia.
I could be wrong, but the fly wheel is associated with engine speed not car speed, so i don’t think it would create shockwaves. The tires would be under immense stress though.
@@jjzen4460 Yeah it’s probably the car’s drivetrain and wheels that would break first of all.
But I’ve always wondered if we’re going to reach a speed limit with our current technology for vehicles.
A car sustaining 350mph+ is going to require design miracles and the tyres might not hold up. Another problem is drag, Koenigsegg have said the Jesko might be the fastest possible car they can build with current technology and I’m not surprised.
Christian has always been an innovator so I’d say he’ll come out with a new engine or something knowing that legend😂.
@@wokevirushandsanitzer5300 road length is the current limiting factor, followed by tires. The "fastest" segg is the jesko absolut which isnt the one in fh5. He didnt say fastest they could buil, he said fastest the would build for the foreseeable future. They could put the same drivetrain in a single seater with less frontal area and weight (and hereby rollin resistance) and a stripped interior and no ac or power steering for less drivetrain load and less reliable more powerful engine tuning for e85 only and make more power and have a car capable of going probably at least 20mph faster, but it would be a ton of money dumped into a shit car where the absolut is just a modification of an existing widely marketable chassis. And it doesnt matter bcs no absolut will ever hit true vmax anyway, there just isnt a long enough straight, flat, smooth road. At 300 mph youre covering 1/4 mole every 3 seconds, so if it takes you 10 seconds to go from 300 to 310 thats over half a mile covered just for that part of the run, and the faster your going the slower the car accelerates, with the last mph the car has probably taking 2-3 seconds on its own. Then you need a braking zone, and it has to be longer than you think because if the car brakes hard all the way down from that speed you destroy the brakes from heat before you come to a stop, so you have to be easier on the brakes. Were talking 10 miles of perfect road at this point, and as speed get higher that length grows exponentially. And sure, more power means faster acceleration, but nearing vmax will take just as long, itll just be going even faster and therefore covering even more ground.

with just that speed ? absolutely far away..
but since he had to mtiply the gravity to make the car stick to the car and actually be driveable, along with aerodinamic changes, it might actually fly less than an stock one. it all depends on how much he altered the gravity to make the top speed work

Since we've made it past 600kph let's aim for 650 next, they did say the 2 new cars are faster than anything we've ever seen.
And if they don't make it, there's always a chance we'll get the Tuatara.

Hi, I've created an event lab which is a drag race across the whole map on platforms and I managed to get 326 mph with no changing settings or anything(and it goes 309 on the motorway). This might be cool to check out with your tune because it could probably go a lot faster. (My drag race is flat btw) If anyone wants to use it it's called Longest drag race - Spaciestsoap543

Hello Djs, today i've check the Setup that you build for the Koenigsegg Jesko. Befor, i had this setup since weeks on it. Now, after the Hot Wheels DLC the Setup that before runs 530kph doesn't run over 490kph. Yes, the same Setup that you have build. This Game or, PGG Fucks and piss me so many off. To many Speed Problems, Setup now, Cheaters on Best List and Graphics and many more. 😡😡 Please check up your Setup for the Koenigsegg Jesko. Greets

Awesome video.. I just wish the game would actually simulate the world around it at that speed. I'm pretty sure 6x 100 kph ( Here in Australia ) wouldn't be that easy to navigate. Haha..
how to tune top speed
Tire Pressure: Max Front and Max Rear (Min rear can be faster in some cases)
Gears: test in freemode with telemetry to put out maximum power at top speed
Camber: All 0
ARB: 1.00 1.00
Springs: Fully soft rally suspension, Max front ride height, Min rear ride height
Damping: 1.0 1.0, 20.0 1.0
Differential: 100% Acceleration, 100% rear power bias (if your car is AWD)
sometimes 65% rear bias works better on awd, especially if you want it to be easier to handle than rwd. it really depends on the car. but then i also set my cars up to work with my playstyle, so that is also a factor. whether you use a wheel, keyboard or controller also makes a difference on it.
I have a very cheap car its only 35k its called bmw m3 tune it it can take up to 450+ speed but it will take you 100k+ money

DJS has showed me that car names can be confusing to pronounce sometimes(Penhall Cholla, Regera, etc.). So confusing that he decided to call him with something simple instead.

I like that as fast as you're going, it's in 4th gear. How are the flywheel and transmission not just hot red sludge?
More gears doesn’t mean more speed. More gears adds efficiency through ratios. His 4th could be the same ratio as another’s 10th. Imagine taking all the gears off your 7-speed bike except 7th, now you have a bike with one gear but same top end.
