15 years??? Holy smokes! That is so sweet. You were just babies when you met. And your grandma is absolutely hysterical. And 92? Great genes .... love and hugs from North of the 49th ❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️
Jonathan your grandmother is a hoot! Watching the two of you interacting with your nieces and nephews you can see you are going to be great dads! The paw print of Koda is so touching. Sending love and hugs as you hold Koda close in your hearts and as you also welcome Bandit into your lives!❤️
Take Koda's paw impression print to a tattoo artist and have them copy the paw on the top of your foot. That way Koda will always be walking with you. That is what I plan to do when my precious Yumi transitions to the beyond. She always puts one paw on my foot when I am in the kitchen. I want to remember that always. Koda is in your hearts and will be waiting for you. Blessings to all of you.
I didn't realize what was coming at the end. Tears were flowing as I watched. It took me back to when I lost my sheltie, Alexander. Pets are more family members than some human family members. I love how you memorialized Koda with the tree. Love and peace to the two of you. BTW, your trip looked like fun - good for all of you.
I had the same reaction when I opened my buddy Copper's urn bag - the paw print still chokes me up - and I found myself crying along with you. He gave so much that can never be taken away.
I know that we don’t know each other but I cry every time you guys cry. I have been following you guys for years now, I’ve bought all your books and I’ve even gotten my mom to watch your videos. She loves it when Merlín puts his butt in the camera shot. I miss Koda also. Bandit is beautiful and I look forward to getting to know him also... sending bigs hugs full of love....❤️❤️❤️❤️
OMG Thank you for share your grandma with us! What a HOOT! She looks fantastic! 92 yrs young. Let's not forget about that phone of miniature Jonathan...what a cutie!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your grandmother. She seems like she would be so much fun. SHE has wonderful energy. You guys really outdid yourself on this video I love it love you guys always in my thoughts and prayers
What you could do is put some of Koda's ashes around the Apple Tree. My oldest brother developed cancer, and died a few years ago. He loved to hunt, so we put some ashes around the tree he loved to hunt in, and in front of one of the houses we have with flowers that he enjoyed visiting. That way, it becomes a part of them. I'm sorry for your loss, but remember, it's not an Eternal loss, he's running around at this moment with those that love you. He'll await your arrival. Btw, your Grandma is the greatest, I just LOVE her.
Thank you so much for taking us along on your CA vacation to visit your families. It was so wonderful to meet your G’ma, see you with your nieces and nephews and meet your new pup.
Me too! My grandma was ten years older than Jon's and died almost six years ago. What i wouldn't give to turn back the clock a decade just to see her and other family members again.
Should not have watched before work. Sobbing. What a beautiful tribute to Koda and loving intro (outside sleepy boy during live video the other day) to Bandit.
Hi Aaron and Jon! Great vacation video! You guys seemed very happy in LA! Grandma was hilarious! She certainly has a youthful spirit! The tribute you guys did for Koda in your backyard was beautiful! I was certainly moved and was transported to last year when I lost my dog of 15 years. I hope you guys continue to receive lots of love from friends and family!
Great video guys, glad you got to see your families. You grandmother is a hoot, she looks amazing for 92. I was crying at the end, such a sweet tribute to Koda, he was so loved by you guys. Hugs!!
I`m glad you´ve been able to visit family. That`s so important, especially these days. It`s always fun to watch you interact with them. We`ll have our next family gathering on Easter Sunday. My dad will be 84 in a few weeks and, of course, I`m trying to spend as much time with him as I can. Fortunately he lives in his own apartment only a 15-minute drive away. We both went to my mother`s grave today. She passed away in January 2004. The idea with the apple tree and the Neverland quote is so beautiful. You`ll always remember Koda, and so will we.
I love your grandma 🌹 I was not expecting the Koda part and then I lost it. I love what you have done and are doing for Koda. RIP Koda you are loved and missed ❣️🌹🥲
We finally watched the video. OMG, those last few minutes celebrating Koda turned on the water works big time. We just lost it when the paw print came out. Planting a tree is also such a sweet gesture. We are glad Koda will be a part of you forever and that Bandit is now part of your own personal Neverland too. Also loved seeing all the love between you guys and your friends and family, and between each other. It's heartwarming to see good people like you having a lot to be thankful for. Take care!
I'm so glad to see you with your family. Important to have some smiles and laughter to balance out your loss. I'm sure that if Koda could speak, he would say "thank you for loving me and taking such good care of me". My thoughts are with you two.
Wow you brought tears to my eyes at the end of the video. Honestly You two are so so special together. Keep thinking of the good times with Koda. That tree is such a lovelly idea and that plaque is perfect. Xxxxxx
Looks like you guys had an awesome LA trip. I feel your pain of losing sweet Koda. We lost our 11 year old beagle Molly last October. Still cry over losing her often.....actually crying right now just thinking of her 💜 Love & Hugs Guys. RIP~Sweet Koda.
Thanx guys . . . really enjoyed watching you relax with family (Grandma's a Hoot), you very much deserved it. Love all you did in tribute to your sweet Koda.

Your guys family look awsome. You can see where all of your love comes from . John your grandma reminds me of my grandmother, so full of love and life. Was good to see you with Kodas ashes. Don't worry about breaking down. We all knew what he meant to the both of you. I never thought I would feel like that. But found out when my dig died. I lost one of my family. Cried like a baby. It does help. You boys will get through this. It will be hard but you know you will see him again. He will aways live in your hearts. Safe and well forever . Stay safe and healthy bye guys.
It's so lovely seeing you guys get to meet up with family and friends, especially in these times ❤ Edit: I'm now watching the last few minutes and crying tears of my own once again. Love you guys so much, one can only imagine what the three of you (Merlin included) are going through ❤
I'm so sorry about Koda. He will always be remembered. Its hard to loose someone that close. I had 3 beautiful dogs and consider them my daughters unfortunately 2 of them passed away one from old age and other got hit by a car. I still have and will always cherish 💛 💓 the memories we shared ❤ you guys
When I saw the footprint of Koda I started crying without realizing it😢...Koda has left a part of his beautiful soul in each of us, even if we haven't met him ❤️
What a gorgeous lady! (FYI in the UK there’s a scandalous saying: “red hat, no knickers “?) And such cute squared puppies. It’s so nice to see real people living real lives. It’s so refreshing. You all have nice, real looking homes, not the magaziney homes of most movies and series. That sounds backhanded and isn’t remotely meant that way. Your homes look cosy and comfy.
That was beautiful I know what you both are going through I lost a pet to it hurts. That was a fun vacation to see family I just love your grandma John have a good evening.
I gotta say Aaron and John I watched the video with ya all showing kodas paw print and what not and John I cried right along with you buddy my love to you both God bless.
Jonathan, your grandma is a hoot! And still going strong at 92! I, too, am (½) Italian-American, though my Grandmother was born in the US. She lived until 3 months shy of 92. We had 45 year together. She was the last of my grandparents. Two years later, when I turned 47, I said to my husband, "You know, I'm now the same age that Grandmother was when I was born. I'm not sure how I feel about that." (And at 50, I was the same age that my dad's parents both were when I was born. I believe that my other grandfather (also Italian-American) was 53 or 54. Another one/two years away.)
Your grandmother had such a beautiful spirit!
Jonathan's Grandmother is awesome & funny AF. Makes me miss my grandparents.
15 years??? Holy smokes! That is so sweet. You were just babies when you met. And your grandma is absolutely hysterical. And 92? Great genes .... love and hugs from North of the 49th ❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️
You guys are an inspiration of how two men can be soul mates and love each other so deeply.
I think the same!!
Everything was going fine until the end of the episode & I started crying. RIP Koda. You were the best parents to that little angel.
Aaron is simply an awesome man. The love and care you show for your family is very stand up and inspirational.
Seeing Jonathan crying is truly heartbreaking! Sending a big hug! Koda Bear will never be forgotten!

I had the same reaction when I opened my buddy Copper's urn bag - the paw print still chokes me up - and I found myself crying along with you. He gave so much that can never be taken away.
She reminded me of Sophia Patrillo from the Golden girls
That was a great video and tribute. You guys are great with children.
I know that we don’t know each other but I cry every time you guys cry. I have been following you guys for years now, I’ve bought all your books and I’ve even gotten my mom to watch your videos. The last few minutes were so emotional, thank you for feeling able to share that with us.

«hugz» Jon. There's no shame in grief for a pet, and I feel honored that you and Aaron chose to share that with all of us.
