This trailer cannot possibly capture the intensity of this movie. People, this movie is soul shaking.
Benjamin Bode not really. It's just gory
No, not really. I just watched this movie, and I found it to be a really great thriller, but it wasn't as suspenseful as I expected it to be
@@iWantToBelieve... Yeah I agree that was the best thing about the movie
This movie was pointless. A pointless thriller.
This movie was garbage
This film has not received a tenth of the attention it deserves.
It is and will forever be a masterpiece.
R.I.P Anton Yelchin
It's shit
i think it got what it deserved
Moral of the story, don't forget your god damn phone.
Don't hang with neo nazis
@@ConnerVain they weren't hanging they were unaware of the venue they were performing at. Do research on the venues is the biggest lesson.
@@gin.gefilms buddy boy i seen the film.
Always keep my phone and my gun. lol
@@gin.gefilmsThey could have just left if the lady didn’t forget her phone.
too bad this kid past away man, I liked him alot !! RIP Anton Yelchin! !
I know he was about to be HUGE in Hollywood, he was on his way to the top when he died. What a terrible way for someone to go, I’ve heard soooo many good things about him. The day he died I was working on a film with a bunch of people that worked on films with him. It’s common for directors to stop the moment it’s official to pay their respects.
@@JC-wc9lk Wtf bruhhh
@@VishalRana-cu4gq what-
@@JC-wc9lk They are talking about the real actor who died in 2016, not in the movie.
@@VishalRana-cu4gq omg I’m so sorry, thank you for lmk :(
wow, Patrick Stewart reminded me so much of Bryan Cranston as Walter White
lol, thought it was only me
Thought it was him at first
wow, patrick stewart reminded me of bryan cranston as bryan cranston
Cranston would of done a better job. Guaranteed.
"It's fuckin' hard, man" Is how I describe this movie to my friends.
This movie was SO fucking good. So raw and intense. What an amazing final performance by Anton Yelchin. I had goosebumps the whole fucking time.
His final performance was on Star Trek Beyond
Antonio Alanis What, so this can't be a final performance as well? He's a main character as well, and acts well beyond what the script of Trek would even allow. To me, Green Room is Anton Yelchin's best performance ever and the highest he'd reached in drama before tragically dying.
Spenser Violet I meant to say that this is the last movie that he made. And i just barely seen the greem room 2 days ago it was a good movie i agree it was his best performance from any movie ive seen of him. Sucks that he died you can tell that he was a really good person R.I.P.
he's still got 4 more movies coming out.
His final performance was on "We Don't Belong Here"
Went to a screening of this today and didn't have high hopes. Turns out I was very wrong and really enjoyed the movie.
You’re a sicko
Ethidian how
This has been my favorite film of 2016...it's not fair that this kind soul had to leave us so soon, but the ending to Green Room was easily Anton's finest moment...I got chills when I watched it and he looked ghostly (w/ a shaved head). RIP Anton, it's not fair what happened to you.
You better be in Heaven or this Life and Death thing doesn't make sense.

not really considering hes talking about the actual actor being dead.
Brogram Films oh :(
@@BrogramFilmssSPOILER: its still spoiler cause he said he lived till the end
this movie was terrific!. delightful moments of humor, followed by razor sharp tension, Patrick Stewart like you've never seen him before. and Anton Yelchin...such an amazing talent RIP😢💔
Rest in peace Anton
He was great in in _Star Trek_ and here just as well.
Proof that sir Patrick Stewart is one of the greatest actors alive. He killed it in this movie. That scene where said "this will all be over soon gentlemen" sent chills down my spine
This movie was amazing in every way. Even for people that are not into horror or gore, for the roles, set design, suspense, payoff and character development are all truely awe inspiring.
Its rare to see such a masterpiece within a genre that is so riddled with mediocrity, but I stan this movie all the more for it.
Damn really gonna miss Anton Yelchin a lot. I always loved that he would take a lot of interesting Indis and smaller films like this. A lot of them are pretty memorable for me so you wont be forgotten. R.I.P.
ninjastorm540,, :(
"Blue Ruin," "Green Room," wonder if Saulnier will make a third movie with a color in the title? An unofficial trilogy of sorts?
It's possible considering how much the color blue was used in blue ruin and judging from this trailer, a lot of green for this film
It will probably be called, "Red River"
I believe I read his next film will be about a hunter in Alaska and a pack of wolves... Forgot the name.
+David Dean Burkhart I hear it being called his "Colors trilogy" so I can certainly bet on the next one being related to a color.
+nerdybutcute That would be amazing.
This movie was terrifying, had a believable premise, and was very unpredictable. Plus Anton Yelchin is in it, he's nothing less than an acting legend 👏 RIP
To be honest, I think this is one of the most well crafted thriller movies I've ever seen.
The dude took a kind of schlocky plot and made an intense nail biter of a movie. The writing and acting all came together seamlessly.
Alia shawkat's performance was a big stand out to me
A24 is on a roll!
I heard the studio A2A makes good movies . True ?
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blue Ruin was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Robert Grier watching it right now!
how!?
+xsolent
HOW!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? HOOOWWWWW!?!?
+Spenser Brooks NETFLIX!!!!
+Martin Melnick are you saying, you hope it goes to netflix or that it is on netflix? cuz its not on netflix.
Odd Tomas is one of my favorite films! What an amazing actor Anton Yelchin was. Thank goodness he had a good amount of work and films before he passed. He was really extraordinary in what I've seen of him so far. Sweet dreams Odd! He was only 27.
I'm settling in to watch Green Room now.
Had to stop it mid trailer to preserve it. Looks amazing.
+Clint Flicker *swats with rolled-up newspaper* Bad spoiler hound! Go sit in the corner and think about what you've done.
TheKersey475 okay fine i'll think about what i did, just like anton and imogen thought about how all their friends and the skinheads died
I stopped @8 seconds when I read the comments praising it.
When “pat” kid with the chopped arm tells the paintball story on the couch was the highlight of this film that got deep...
Rest In Peace, Anton Yelchin. He was a boss in this movie.
RIP Anton. I was looking forward to more movies like this from him
What a great movie. Anton Yelchin did an incredible job in this one. After this movie I was anticipating whatever role who would choose to do next, sadly this will be one of his last. RIP Anton you will be greatly missed.
+funnygirl1011000 i know!!! so sad what happened to him.....i gell in love with him after seeing him in "Alpha Dog" loved him ever since❤❤❤❤❤ heartbroken that he's gone.
Yeah....its really strange how much his death has effected us!!!!Ofcourse Ive never met him but weirdly I feel as if he's still here somehow❤ Anton was and always will be amazing!
Seriously so impressed by Saulnier's work. Both of his films had me on the edge of my seat, I was sooooooo into Blue Ruin and Green Room. I haven't seen Murder Party yet, but I'm sure it's great.
This movie is one of the best I’ve ever seen.
I'd been dying to see this ever since the first trailer came out and it lived up to my unrealistically high expectations. Badass, brutal, and beautiful.
I’m about to watch this for the first time, you convinced me
@@xijinping4463 enjoy!
It was shit
Just finished watching this movie, it was freaking incredible. And really sad to hear about the death of Anton. R.I.P Anton Yelchin
Just saw this film last night. Such a tragedy how we lost a great talent in Anton. RIP.
I pray every day that Saulnier will make a new movie. Everything he does is touched with gold.
So glad I didn't watch this trailer before seeing it. I hadn't much idea what I was in for, and I was on the edge of my seat nearly the entire film
+Rotinaj37 Same here. I'd seen a trailer before some other movie, but it wasn't this one. All I knew was some young punk band gets trapped in a venue, and that's it. I also somehow didn't know it was from the same guy as Blue Ruin, so seeing the movie last night was a real treat.
One of those rare films that caught my attention from beginning to end.
"Let'em bleed". Holy goodness. This looks amazing. Blue ruin was so nerve shatteringly suspenseful, this looks to deliver the same, if not! Harder punch.
Just finished watching this...R.I.P Anton Yelchin This was GOOD!
RIP Anton! I can imagine all the great movies you could've given us!
As a film fanatic. I came back to this trailer because I was thinking of Anton. Literally wondering if anyone else thinks of all the films he could’ve brought us.
@@markwebb8913 yes!! We missed out of a wonderful actor
Damn that bad moon rising gave me chills
Ethan I can't find it anywhere either and it's killing me, so haunting I love it.
I actually found it on Spotify, it's by Mourning Ritual and Peter Dreimanis
Take notice world, best director in Hollywood in the next six or seven years right here. So stoked
He and Jeff Nichols--two of my absolute favorite younger directors right now... Even if the latter does have a few more under his belt.
wesjet23 TRUE DETECTIVE AHHHH
Fantastic movie. Criminally underrated.
Anton Yelchin, you will be missed. Excellent movie. Amazing cast and script all around.
I saw this in theaters and boy it was a nail biting experience seeing Anton's character try so hard to survive the ordeal. RIP Anton, you were an amazing actor.
Truly brilliant movie. If you haven't seen it and are considering it, it's a great watch and a great performance by dearly departed Anton Yelchin
Just watched it. What an amazing movie. RIP Anton.
Anton Yelchin, a good man. A great actor with so much great potential.
Just saw this movie.
10/10
Would relive this nightmare again.
Rip Anton I can't wait to watch this film
It's one of his best. Definitely a fine movie to have been one of his.
He really makes this movie. I've loved him in everything I've ever seen him in. RIP Anton
After years I was finally able to see this movie the other day on Netflix. Loved it and gotta rewatch it!
What a bloody belter, gut punch of a film. Every minute you're on the edge of your seat. Absolutely fantastic.
Such an underrated movie. Truly fantastic 😭
This is the darkest episode of Blunt Talk yet.
After Anton yelchin died in 2016, I rented this movie on red box and watched it to honor his memory. At first I thought it was gonna suck but as I watched the rest of it, GREEN ROOM was really frickin gory and awesome. Patrick Stewart was fantastic in the main villian role. And even though Anton died, it was smart for Anton to reunite with imogen poots again. (5 years later from 2011 fright night).
One of my favorite movies of 2016 so far and you rocked in it. Wanted more movies from you but I will see your remaining projects even Star Trek beyond even though I had no desire to see it, I will to support you and see one of your final films in theaters. 😱😭
watched this on shrooms and it was the worst shroom trip ever but I watched this sober when it first came out and it was spectacular, something new to the cinematic universe.
R.I.P Anton
imogene poots played her role brilliantly. only reason why i keep watching it
Just saw it...Holy crap this movie was pure #savage
This movie was freaking amazing!
Rest in Peace, Anton.
One of the best films I've ever seen. So raw and intense.
One of my fav movies I'm always trynna rewatch it.
Best underrated movie ever......
This is one of the best thrillers out there
fantastic movie for falling asleep too
Yes❤❤
one of the best movies I've ever seen.
When They Cut His Arm scene Crazy Af
He seem to have a kind soul RIP Anton :(
Just finished watching this movie...so good.
It was intense...I would of passed out if that happened to my hand.
Saw this movie this summer at a film festival. It was brutal and genius and yeah.. I would highly recommend it.
I had doubts about this movie, but am so glad I decided to give it a watch. It was really good, and probably one of the best movies I have seen for awhile. I am usually not into these types of movies, but it was just so great. Especially being in the punk rock/hardcore/deathcore scene myself, I loved the music, and related to it a lot, as the main cast reminds me of my friends, and myself all through high school. - Great movie, if you haven't seen it, give it a watch for sure! I think most people will enjoy it.
Just watched it on Netflix. One hell of a movie.
Just finished it. Shook me to my core. Had to look away a couple times..
Granted, I don't watch a lot of films, and didn't realize who Anton Yelchin was. But Green Room was a great film and now I'm seeing how many projects he had been involved in in his utterly short life and it's amazing. Sad loss.
Please tell me you've seen "Alpha Dog" by now. That's the first movie I ever saw him in, & I thought it was fantastic, albeit sad af.
Just saw it, great film.
Next to "the invitation" this is my favourite movie. Damn good!!!
God, you just make my day with every new trailer you guys put out. This looks scary AF, A24.
Absolutely underrated. This move man!!!. Absolutely underrated.
Going into this movie knowing nothing is the best way to experience it. Unfortunate not all can see it this way
I'd be very unhappy if I were named Imogen Poots.
+SoulStylistJukeBox man u have me laughin like hell over that comment!
+SoulStylistJukeBox I'd be very happy if my girlfriend looked like Imogen Poots.
+SoulStylistJukeBox truly the ugliest name i have ever heard ! HOLY SHIT !
+psycold Pffft, you got some low ass standards.
Imogen Gay Poots
watching this tonight😎🎬🎥🎬🎥🎬🎥
Just got back from an advanced screening. Movie was phenomenal, it's even better than it looks.
A24 are always on top of the game
Damn, Amazing film. One of the best I've seen, ever.
No
SUCH A WELL MADE MOVIE, THE FEAR AND DREAD WERE REAL!
one of my favorites of 2016
Highly recommend 👌
This is one of my favorite movies ever god damn it is dark and violent
Just watched this on Netflix. Highly suggest this for anyone who loves weird random movies. I loved it!
Holy moly this movie was intense! The buildup of the situation was so believable so when things really got out of hand my nerves were running!
I wish A24 would make more movies like this. Genuinely scary
Johnny Burke hereditary didn’t scare you?
@@SapphieSaurx3 not really, it made me more uncomfortable than anything else. Still a good movie though
A24 is my favorite film distribution company. Uncut gems, Hereditary, Green Room, The Witch, and Ex Machina as well as many more.
I heard no news whatsoever about Anton's death until I saw the top comment here and then Googled. So fucking sad... I loved him in Fright Night and just thought he was a great actor in general. His life was cut way too short. Rest in peace, Anton.
Just saw this movie and it was awesome, everyone needs to see it
I'm a huge fan of Anton yelchin I'm glad to see him in a movie
Anton Yelchin and Sean Farris I wish were in more movies
So does this mean Jeremy Saulnier next movie is going to be titled "Red Rum"?
You know, if we're continuing the theme of colors (Blue, Green, Red) followed by alliterative words that sorta-kinda sound similar (Ruin, Room, Rum) in stories having to do with death.
And if you spell it backwards it's Murder!
The shinning!
RIP anton. can't believe he died.
Oh man I'm exited about this. I loved Blue ruin. It had that "drive " vibe kinda which is why I liked it so much. Glad that the same actor is in this one.
Wow, this was amazing!
can we get please Patrick Stewart in every movie now?
Horror/Thrillers never get to me, I've grown callused from watching so many from a young age. You could probably name any heavy weight horror film and I've seen it. But no shit, it's been years since I've felt as anxious as I did watching this. It is a masterpiece; easily added to my top 5 favorite flicks of the like. It's the reality that makes it so intimidating; with no jump scares or paranormal cliches to pull from, this thing really hits you like a ton of bricks. Highly recommended film.
Perfectly said. It immediately made my top five list as well.
CANT WAIT for this!!!!!!
I'm so glad Saulnier is working on Season 3 of True Detective.
