Sir...why did,t you consider the force Fad on the left side of the Truss? And is it compulsory that we have to solve w.r.t left side of the Truss? Can we solve it w.r.t right side of the Truss?
Sir one doubt why not we are considering tensile forces along the members AD, CE and CB. And while considering point A we are taking forces opposite to the section means point B, hence if tensile forces in CB is considered then there will be one more force acting at B. Sir please clear the doubt

If you solve the same questions by method of Joints And take the node A £Fy=0; Fab.sin60+2.5=0. £Fx=0; Fae +Fab.cos60=0. By solving these 2 equations you will get Fab = - 2.88 But in this video by method of section you are getting the different value of Fab. How is it possible?
its just wow...sir I feel myself proud to watch urs tutorials...u deal each n evrthng much simply...thats the quality u have which i do not see somewhere else...thank u sir g
sir will you explain me what is the difference between method of joints and method of section ,for what type of structures we have to consider method of joints and method of sections
He does that when he is beginning to solve then he sum all forces in the x and y direction equal to zero. Then he take moments about say A and equate it to zero. I haven't had the chance of asking him about that by comparing your method to his. Is your method applicable and won't that change my answer?
great sir .. i am very much thankful to you for uploading such a great video , it has killed all the doubts .. once again thank you sir from the bottom of my heart
hey sir this video is helpful to me indeed......but i have one question......why 4kN and 3.5kN forces are not considered when you calculate the DE member?
It's up to u , which side (from sectional cut) left or right you wanna go for calculation of forces. If u chose left side then forces of left side is to be considered and vice versa
Sir i tried summation moment about point A and tried to find out F(db) force by putting the rest of the values of member DE , force 2KN. But the value has come different. Sir can you please write the equation about point A?
While applying the moment equation about a point, why forces only along the opposite section are considered and not the forces within the same section?
@@ManasPatnaikofficial no sir. I m not talking about point. I m asking if we take moment about a point in the left section (say), why only the forces in the right section are considered?

why did you not take force in truss AD ,i.e;"Fad" into consideration?
Sir...why did,t you consider the force Fad on the left side of the Truss?
And is it compulsory that we have to solve w.r.t left side of the Truss?
Can we solve it w.r.t right side of the Truss?
i am also having the same doubt about force Fad
Sir is there will be no effect of force AD in calculating member forces??
Without you Sir I couldn't have got my b-tech certificate 💯. I'm so lucky to have you on UA-cam Sir 😊😊
Thank you sir by watching your videos I've prepared for my exams
where is Rx in the rxn forces
Sir one doubt why not we are considering tensile forces along the members AD, CE and CB. And while considering point A we are taking forces opposite to the section means point B, hence if tensile forces in CB is considered then there will be one more force acting at B. Sir please clear the doubt
Yes , same doubt ,
Please clarify
Sir why haven't we made a force F(DA) , F(BE) , F(BC) AND F(AC) in this problem.???
at point A it is a hinge support,so horizontal reaction will also be acting.
Sir can u clarify how can take whether it is clock wise moment or Anti clock wise moment
Sir,
Why we didn't consider the external forces 4kn and Rc acting at point E and C respectively, could you please explain
Not understood.. considered moment at point B, but focused section is left-hand side one..
If focused section is LHS One ,then we have to take moment about A or D?? Clarify my doubt
Yes, vertical component reaction not taken
Same
Thank you sir you just helped me score a good grade keep the good work on🎉
Sir at A it is an hinge support what about horizontal reaction force
horizontal reaction force=0.(so,Not considered).
in these truss all the external forces are vertical hence all the support reactions will be also vertical therefore no horizontal reaction at A
There is no external force acting in x direction so horizontal force will be zero
An excellent explaination(how to select the joint is the best tip) thank u sir
Thkewww sir... N very advanced and clear teaching style... I want more problem sir..... It helps a lot better than my college teacher.... 😊 ☺️
sir, at point A it is pin joint . so instead of Ra , Ha and Va need to act right ??
You have understood yourself not to others
Wonderfull demonstration
Keep it up
JAZAKALLAH
Thanks Ammar and all the best
sir, I'm a big fan of you sir....
and to your lectures...
sir plz do some lecture videos on centroid, centre of gravity, moment of inertia problems
Hi Chandu....
It may take some time, but by DEC i will do that.....
why we did not consider hinge reaction at A?
Sir why we not considered hinge force in the x-direction at point A
Sir at point A a simple hinge is attached so there will 2 support rxns..
You can say so......
As a hinge restricts movement both along horizontal as well as vertical. And that's why you have two reactions.
Clockswise moment is positive and anticlockwise negative
sir if we are taking moment about any joint on the right side then we should take forces only on the left side sir?
Thank you so much ❤️ this is extraordinary teaching and continue this and God blessings 🙏
In summation of F(y), why didn't you consider F(AD)sin60°??
At 15:20 since F(AD) has not been cut by the section thats y...
Thank you Sir!
If you solve the same questions by method of Joints
And take the node A
£Fy=0; Fab.sin60+2.5=0.
£Fx=0; Fae +Fab.cos60=0.
By solving these 2 equations you will get Fab = - 2.88
But in this video by method of section you are getting the different value of Fab.
How is it possible?

Sir why the force in A(Fab) is acted in right side only??Why not in D(Fad)??
what about force F(AD) sir
why have you not considered that for moment calculation about point B

Why force along AD ie.(Fad) not considered while taking moment about point B?
Yes what about force AD
At a time can I consider either left of section for equations or right of sections??
Sir due to angle EAB reaction will produce F(ab)Sin60 degree then that won't be mentioned in €Fy=0
sir will you explain me what is the difference between method of joints and method of section ,for what type of structures we have to consider method of joints and method of sections

What my teacher does is he introduces two reactions at the supports in the x and y direction. Does it have affect generally ?

bro when we take moment about any point on rigth side .which side forces should be considered ?can we take right side forces also
While taking moments about B,why the force in the member AD is not considered ?

is this approach right
Yes we can by taking right moments

Thanks it's really nice and educative

Sir do we have to take only sigma about x axis nd y axis and moments only for the section of one side
