Some people asked to walk in Saitama and so I went to Omiya station. Walked through shopping district, through residential area to Hikawa shrine, then to neighbor Omiya Daini park.

take care of your health Rambalac, and thank you for the amazing content as usual
@@streetsofasia8895 nah, it's just for safety purpose
Thank you for your video. I spent last year doing an exchange in higashi omiya and I've never been happiest in my entire life. This takes me back, since I've been in those areas plenty of times. I've shed a few tears watching this video and one other of you walking around at night in the rain somewhere in chiba's suburbs, since it made me remember all the times I had to take the last train coming back from a friend's house, since my dormitory would not allow spending the night outside without previous notice, which meant I would have to take the last train, but when I got back to my station there would be no more buses running and I would just take the long way home, enjoying the dim street lights and their reflections on the rainy puddles on the floor. Your videos are awesome.
I always feel like I'm on vacation watching your videos. Thank you!
Stay safe out there man 👍 all of us appreciate your content
@Stando Powa your oops I never changed it
地元だけど後半は私も知らない道を歩いてますね。ステキです。良い旅を。
Stay safe 🙏. Thanks for the walking tour 👍🏻😊
You’re back! Hope all is well!
もろ、地元です!!
いつも通る駅から始まり、自分がいつも見てる風景なのになんかちょっと違って見えてお散歩、楽しかったです✨
Welcome back!! Thank you for trying hard for us but please remember to take care and stay safe
I love the realistic experience of your videos, especially how you explore the alleys and go off the beaten trail.
I remember being able to walk around in public , like it was yesterday
Those were the good times
I don't, seems like two years ago for this hermit turned social butterfly.
As soon as this is done and over, I'm gonna be the
f r i e n d l i e s t
human.
Whoa, why am i up there and own here.! I'm a time traveller!!
It's good to see people being cautious but life going on.
Same wish the US could see this. They are closing a lot of things here and tell people to go out as little as possible only for emergency.
Dana Rhodes We still go out and about, stores are still open, and people are going to the park and walking around also, it’s understandable that businesses have to close especially if there’s a lot of employees working in an office or department stores, my neighbors take their dogs for a walk and since schools had to close, I see kids playing outside. But even in this video, it doesn’t look too busy or crowded. Just keep safe and drive around your city or go for walks so you feel trapped in your home.
Please don't push yourself too hard, thanks for the videos!
@@streetsofasia8895 he took a timeout recently. he said he didnt know how long it would last - but in the end it was fortunately just about two weeks or so.
YOU'RE BACK I'M SO HAPPY
大宮は懐かしい青葉ってラーメン屋は20年くらい前によく食いに行ってたけどまだあるんだ
I know every footstep you just took! Thank you for taking me back to Omiya. Our upcoming trips have had to be delayed so needed this 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I always enjoy these videos!
Appreciate this walking tour. If I have to quarantine myself in the near future because of this virus, I'll be watching this channel on my TV in HD with headphones. Almost as good as being overseas instead of home on the couch :)
A HUGE THANKS again from a fan in quarantine in the UK for chancing the pandemic and keeping us all walking with you........ Rock star!!!!! Saitama is a Lovely Lovely City and so clean......... I keep glancing at the ditches and sidewalks for trash and counting them................. CARRY ON (and be safe).
Thank you again! Be safe out there!
Thank you for uploading new videos, please stay safe. Japan is still Japan, very clean and safe.
Increible, hipnotizador.

I love how you always pan the camera towards the sky in the end. It is as if the viewer flies away, back to his reality.
I do fly in and out in some videos literally. Check Miyajima or cat island video
Thank you ramblac. And thank your for inspiring me to make walking videos. You really are inspiring!
Loved it as usual. Thanks Ramblalac.

Youre Videos are running on my second screnn al time when I play games. One time I will visit Japan too with my wife, but youre vids are ASMR enough for my eye till then.
PLS Keep up your great work. Greetings from Germany :)
Hello, I'm Japanese student who is learning English and Russian.
I love your country, and I want to start to learn German someday because it has similarity to English.
@@user-ky5xe6ln2k Hi, cool that oyu like our country, i love yours :). It is kind of similar but its more complicated than englisch :D.
Love it! Thank you!!
lets go a trip with Rambalac
Rambalac: no
Hi Rambalac. I'm glad to see your activity is normal.
39:10 My favorite places are shrines.
This days are difficult for filming in Spain but they are historic. Good luck.
Thank you so much for your content. I want to visit Japan again, it's been over 25 years. But with the virus, and we have had to make some emergency house repairs, put any such plans delayed. Seeing your videos makes me want to visit even more lol. But it makes me smile...so thank you!
Awesome upload! 👌👌
A better way to go from the main Omiya Park to Omiya park II is to walk across the street bridge next to the cycle racing track, you avoid the traffic and it has some nice trees along the way. During the cherry blossom season, Omiya park II has a very nice row of trees just next to the park, hopefully, you can visit again when they are blooming.
This is the only way to travel Japan with the Coronavirus episode
As always, its a Wonderful time taking a virtual walk with you in the beautiful Japan. We appreciate you ever so much. My Blythe dolls and I.☺👍👍👍.P.S many prayers, peace, and Love to you all.
These are great. Good for walking on the treadmill and casting to your tv.
the residential area is beautiful
Superb Video 👌.. Thankyou & Wish You The Very Best.
Amazing new vlog upload
Rambalac! Take care of yourself! Thinking of you and praying for good health!
At 26:00, I remember walking down here in May 2016. I was going to an Omiya football/soccer match with a Japanese girl that I finally got to meet in person. We came down this way to pass Hikawa shrine before the match. It was very nice. :)
how did it go?
random rick they smashed
I know i was late but still, WELCOME BACK RAMBALAC
5:54 I definitely would've walked into Hamacho, coffee and whiskey sounds like an amazing combination.
Coffee in the morning, Whisky in the evening. Nothing beats a good whisky at the end of the week (or after a stressful working day).
31:56 ⛲ so soothing falling water
Love this!!!
The sounds of people and life are reassuring in these times. Thank goodness you're still doing these so people can go outside vicariously through your walks. You are performing a real psychological service for people, so that we may feel some form of normality, albeit simulated. Thanks as always, get lots of miso soup and stay healthy :). Your steady cam work is amazing as always! At 3:10, you have a mystic affinity with cats, you always find a cool bobtail to film. The facemasks really aren't a big fashion accessory to the normally fashionable people of Tokyo.
ラムさんありがとう!自分もいつか札幌以外の街を探検したいです😊
A clear noticeable difference since the spreading of COVID-19. Thanks for another video! :)
I studied in Omiya some time ago. This brings me back. I need to visit Japan again as soon as i can
Rambalac, you are the coolest!!!
Interesting but can't help feeling the loneliness and boredom!! Thought heard a baby cry.....thats quite strange in quiet Japan! Saitama Ken beautiful thanks for video
That's helpful, I'm moving to Omiya and was looking to live around potentially the parks area so super nice to see what all that area is like and how fast it drops off outside of the station etc.
Well. This cat talked to you! LOL Getting one of your videos is like having a steak after a long diet of canned meat. Lots of people quarantined or staying at home. I posted your channel on my facebook to let them wile away the hours. The people's reaction to the new born baby was priceless. Even the familiar crows were nice to hear. Wow a two-cat walk. Blessings.
Thanks
I've had to cancel my trip for 30th March, thank you for these videos, I will visit one day...
4:15 you can see the cell antenna on the upper left with 2 cables coming out of it; 4:21 - 4:26 you can hear as it modulates the microphone's built-in amplifier. Interesting.
i wasnt able to make it this year, but these videos keep giving me the motivation to try again next year :)
Thanks 👍
This is as close as I am going to get to travel to Japan lol
Thanks brother
Thank you for your video, just like I could travel in japan
keep calm and be careful. Safe your health. We need your videos.
a question out of curiosity, did you ever get stopped and asked why are you going around filming?
also great to have you back
Like stopped? Only once by police. I said I'm walking and it was ok. As I found later I was passing Chinese embassy.
3:20 it's interesting to see an abandoned shrine. looks like an old family altar that probably belonged to the previous owner of that plot of land.
4K is better on my TV than HD. Thanks! When passing any restaurants except fast food chain, Would you mind shooting what food they offer?
yes, finally omiya!
I'm surprised not to see many senior citizens playing Poke Mon Go in Omyia park. I miss that park it was my favorite place to walk during breaks from work... many memories in Omiya. I remember my first time visiting Omyia park on my lunch break in 2006 and feeding the ravens bread. When I returned to work and told one of my Japanese students what I have done, she told me very seriously, "Please don't feed them!:.
I will be returning soon, to Higashiomiya and plan to walk one day through the backways to Omiya park III.
良く通る通りも違う道みたいで面白かった!
I liked the ending - it seemed as if that little shrine was your goal and you reached it.
I have walked through that corridor many times, never noticed the shrine!
Wonderful place!
