@@a-pathetic It's not, because of how Gnasty's Loot works, if you think about it - you NEED to be able to jump to get through that level, but you also need 12000 gems to enter that level. 100% might be possible, but 120% definitely isn't.
There is no way I managed to watch the "spyro gets lighter with every gem" video last night, and it was uploaded a year ago, and you immediately upload the opposite the very next day, am I psychic? or cursed?
I don't know exactly how I came across your channel, but I love watching your videos. You have a great down to earth personality, you're funny too. Thank you
Dayoman: "It"s always the lava room that takes like 6 hours on these playthroughs" Ah yes, the visions of the invisible floor are coming back, screaming at me...
It occurs to me that while 100% MIGHT be theoretically possible with this mod, 120% definitely wouldn't be, due to the way Gnasty's Loot works - you have to raise the height cap by jumping in order to get through that level, but you need 12000 gems to get in in the first place, meaning you won't be able to jump once you get in, so you won't be able to raise the height cap, so you won't be able to clear Gnasty's Loot, or probably do anything in it at all.
I've been waiting for this upload! Only caught a little bit of it on stream. It might take a fair bit of planning and a lot of savestates, but it would be very interesting to see a 120% attempt (or at least as close as possible) of this mod.
this is awesome. ever since watching the first video of spyro getting lighter with each gem i always wondered how you would do if it was the other way around
I know the Grape incident was a goof but it reminded me of the actual weird secret tracks that would sometimes would play if I stayed in the same level for ages. Anyone know what those are about?
I know what you're talking about! I think there are two tracks that can play if you're in any level for too long. In my download of the Spyro 1 OST, they're named as "Peace Keepers Alternative Theme" and "Magic Crafters Alternative Theme." The former sounds like if Spyro went kooky in Peace Keepers and the latter sounds like if he took a bong rip in Alpine Ridge lol
Sparx *is* bad at collecting gems in the first game. I’m sure the devs did their best at the time, but the gem detection is janky. They wouldn’t have improved it in later games if it wasn’t. It would be a player skill issue if certain gems were difficult to obtain, but that is not the case. It’s just annoying at times. Not sure why you’re so keen on defending a poorly executed mechanic.
Spyro the average american
LOOOOOOOOL
I absolutely would love to see a 120% playthrough of this.
Is that even possible? Does anyone have any updates on that?

120% you would have to be SO STRATEGIC and only get the gems that are high up on the first time through.
im so full from gems yum

I never knew how to get to all of those extra lives in ice cavern until now
I would love to see a 120% attempt at this

mo money mo promblems
The spyro1 music mixed with year of the dragon music is soo fucking osum
I think what this mod needs is a way to reset gems in a level. That way, you can't get soft locked, but have to revisit the level if you want 120%.
3:23:40 Uh... Yeah something definitely crossed a wire there.
very gem decreases the audio but ever 30th inverts the amount so its louder then normal. then back to the decreased amount on 31st.
Very enjoyable run as usual!
I'm soo jealous of your piss culerd dragon sub
Speaking of RuneScape, I’m mining a crashed star in Al Kharid as I watch this.

Very disappointed that this wasn’t called Spyro but he gets THICCER with every gem

Yeah pls! try 120%
Dude, I’m so excited
Uploaded 53 mins ago and this new content will help me to ride through work…
Love these!
3:15:00 this was me as a kid😂 I always struggled at that part without the speed mod
I love watching all of your uploads
Because of that start now I wanna see you try to beat multiple spyro games at the same time... Wait...
DKC Trilogy is a perfect example of realism.

The long awaited sequel to "Spyro but he weighs 10,000 pounds"
So can you beat spyro 1,2 or 3 without charging?
I made a pirate gold collecting game on this concept and it was really bad.

I find it to be pretty consistent, if frustrating at times.
wdym, sparx's behavior is completely deterministic, hence why a TAS can do those red only runs each time.
I agree with Dayo on this one.
