1,760 feet drop over 2.5 miles, 7.5 feet forward for every foot of drop. I think it would have gone farther with the engine fully shut down and ignored.
It was instructive to see the landing gear fold up so quickly when you touched down on the rough turf. Glad that you were not injured. The slow speed was a factor in the safe landing. Curious to hear if there is an alternative landing gear that would not collapse and allow the wheels to roll. OTOH, the turf clumps were large enough to grab the wheels, so it may be a moot point.
