Thanks so much for turning in today! A very special thank you to Chris from Frag Mental UK for tagging me for this fun idea! Let's see what my good friends Dan from Scented Waters & Andrea from Curly Scents have to offer as we open up about our fragrance addictions! When did your addiction start, and which fragrance started it? To seek help dial 1-frag-annon 🤣🤣
1. Don't chase the hype. 2. Don't do blind buys. 3. Stop watching fragrance reviews. 4. Use the products that you have and be confident in knowing that you smell good. 5. Go on a no buy challenge. 6. Delete any fragrance apps. 7. Know that you have enough. I hope this helps.
What's up my brotha!! Happy that you enjoyed the video! My first niche fragrances arrived as Creed Aventus, Creed Green Irish Tweed, PDM Herod, by Kilian Apple Brandy all in one haul! Go big or go home!! 😂😂😂 I told you I have an addictive personality!!
Mine first was Drakkar Noir! I loved that back in high school! That was the first fragrance I ever purchased myself in 1984 (I think it was 2 years after Drakkar came out).
@@ScentedWaters It's no wonder we get along so well! 😂 I went into the store to buy Polo Green because that's what all my friends were wearing, and decided to be a rebel instead!
I'm feelin your love for Cool Water as your signature brother. Loved hearing about your journey into scent...I need a comfort Mousse! Thanks for taking on the tag Cam!👊🏻
Had a blast doing it Chris! We had a ton of the same players to get us onto this journey! I'll see if I can send you a comfort mousse! 🤣 Thanks for tagging me brother! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Calvin Klein Obsession, then Polo Sport, then Lacoste Pour Home for years then I felt like needed an update. That was when I ran into fragcom, most bottles I have is Creed at 9.
Hey Edwin! If it wasn't for the fragcom I wouldn't know crap about anything that my mall doesn't carry unless I happened to run into something unique in a bigger city or different country! 9 is an impressive number of Creed my man!
Carolina Fragrance Reviews if it wasn’t for fragcom I don’t need an intervention !😂 Creed works great with my skin chemistry, and won’t be duplicated with other house by a self imposed maximum of three. But I’m afraid it will be difficult with PDM they just keep releasing scents I like! 🙃
@@edwinp. yeah dude, PDM is my second largest collection, and they do keep bringing the heat! 🔥🔥🔥 Creed has stuff that's easy to wear & is always classy!
Mike!! What's good pimp!! I think a BUNCH of us were hitting that ADG back in the day! That was a special weapon that was a go to for many people for many years!! Appreciate you bruh!!
Oscar-worthy performance Camdawg! When I first smelled Fahrenheit last year I was turned off but got my nose on it again a few weeks ago and now I see the awesomeness in it. We grew up and started our journey wearing a lot of similar scents - Cool Water, Happy, and Curve. I also rocked Hugo, Drakkar Noir and Polo. :)
Russ my dude! It seems like most of us had VERY similar beginnings! 😂 Fahrenheit has stood the test of time no doubt, but it also takes some getting used to! It will always be a classic though! Appreciate you as always man!! 😎🤘🏻
Nice work on this video. Alice In Chains was my freakin jam when I was 16, and I still love them. Dirt is, and forever will be, one of my favorite albums of all time. I also got addicted to fragrances pretty easily. Drakkar, Acqua Di Gio, and Cool Water were the ones that got me hooked. In the late 90’s, a girlfriend bought me Hugo by Hugo Boss and that assisted in getting me hooked too. So I can relate. You were in metal bands? Me too, a bunch. I am a drummer...what do you play? I have two young kids now and not a lot of free time, but eventually I would like to get back into it. Anyway, thanks for the video!
Birds of a feather my dude! I'm a drummer as well! I played professionally for 15 years. I played everything from country & rock cover bands to an all original metal band. I got out of it some time back & I do miss it at times, but I pretty much just live a quiet life with my son. My plate is piled pretty high between my full time job, raising my son, and all the work I put into running my YT channel. It was a good run while it lasted & maybe at some point I might get back into it, but for now I'm putting my creativity into my channel & my energy into being the best dad I can. Thanks for the comment bro!
Carolina Fragrance Reviews awesome. I never played professionally, but played local shows for 20 years or so. I have been playing the drums since I was 5. I’m 43 years old now, and I will never stop. Same with you though, I’m a full time science teacher, have 2 kids, a wife, busy busy busy. Hopefully someday I’ll get back into it. As for fragrances? I’m still addicted, but I’m glad I have the will power to hold off on blind buying now. In the past I wasn’t so lucky and rang up some crazy debt. Thanks again for the great videos. 💪👍
Oh yeah dude, Tommy, Hugo, Lacoste, Ralph, & all them boys were instrumental as well!! There was a Tommy fragrance that was limited edition that I loved & I got so bummed when I couldn't get it anymore!
Heck yeah dude! I've got crazy memories attached to that Stang while blaring AlC, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Dr Dre, & The SN double O P! We all need help!! 🤣

I just smelled like weed back in high school. Didn't start with the heavy collecting until the last few months. The one that sticks out for me, early 80's, back in the day was Polo . The one's that got me going a few years back was Monte Blanc Legend and Aqua Di Gio as well.
Funny you say that man, I had a 454 SS pickup truck that I used to ride around and blaze the devil's lettuce in & spray it down with that Cool Water. Years after I sold that truck to a friend you could poke your head in there & still slightly smell a blend of chronic & cool wata Cologne! 😅😅🤣

I feel you brotha! I wasn't ever able to get into Joop or Blue Jeans, but I know they definitely had their place right along with all these others mentioned
Cool Water was THE scent at the time and you obviously had better taste than your high school classmates! I think I overdosed on it so anything I smell now that reminds me of it is a bit of a turnoff. I'm a lot older than you so the first (expensive) cologne that I bought was Polo by Ralph Lauren. I think that must have been 1979 or 1980. It was a beast of a fragrance at the time and I soon moved on to Grey Flannel and Karl Lagerfeld.
Oh heck yeah man! There were some iconic fragrances that came out in both our generations that are STILL relevant (especially outside of the fragcomm) I've always enjoyed being different & kinda making my own way. What's funny is there are several fragrances that I was wearing before they went main stream, so it felt like I was a trendsetter in my youth, come to find out I just had great taste! 🤣 Polo green, Grey Flannel, & Karl Lagerfeld all made their marks the same way Drakkar Noir, ADG, Cool Water, Obsession, Eternity, Tommy, & CK One did. I remember falling in love with Polo Sport, Kenneth Cole Black, & many others! Thanks so much for commenting brother! Have a great weekend!
I wanted to try some other fragrances besides Acqua Di Gio and Tommy Hilfiger. It seems like that was all I would wear back in the day. Now I have tons of fragrances! 😁
