Am I the only person who can no longer watch an amazing Tessa and Scott video without being absolutely sad? The "we're just best friends" and "it was business" stuff is totally not cutting it. No one believed that anyway. Just so, so, so sad.

They are best friends; they adore each other and they love each other. Scott is very protective of Tessa and said whoever will be his wife or gf has to accept his relationship with Tessa. Tamara Corona well that’s kind of interesting because I read some comment on another site that it was the other way around… Scott, married somebody else and left Tessa...? It doesn’t seem like anybody’s gonna be happy because no matter who Scott, and Tessa wind up with, It seems there will always be the ongoing leftover love that was obvious between Scott, and Tessa for 20+ years. How can the woman who Scott married ever feel 100% it seems Scott, would always be looking back remembering. Oh well just too much To be bothered with and it’s a bit irritating because 22 years of being fans you would think that Scott, and Tessa with Grace those fans Who cheered them on with some understanding.
Wouldn't that Temptation song be a great song for them to have skated too, especially with all their heat! I wish they would remake the movie The Cutting Edge and star these two beautiful people! Think how many fans would watch it! Think how it might just put them on the right path to find each other again! It's never too late!

Perhaps not because we have the right to know the private lives of Tessa and Scott, but because we all look on and hope that somewhere someone’s love will last. And it certainly looks like after 20+ years of portraying love and being best friends that the love between these two would last. That’s what we look On and hope for. And then we’re left hanging, we humble onlookers just want to know what happened to the hope for love and how could they walk away and want someone else. We don’t get it. We just want to see love last for someone.
Truth Wins! -I’d like to see love go to unconditional level; not dependent on ice time, ice practice, or ice dramatizations. With ice time in the past (for one of them), they both have more time to develop new interests, new areas for different adventures. Each one’s aspirations for the next ten years is very different. Scott did an interview with Zamboni business leadership. Take a listen on UA-cam. Tessa has done several interviews prior to starting at Queen’s. As a romantic, I can only hope their paths may cross again...serendipitously.

After more video watching, comment reading and listening to Virtue & Moir talk in 2020, I’ve synthesized my opinion. Twenty plus years cultivated friendship, possible infatuation/attraction, love, disagreements, plenty of pain (physical and emotional), jealousy, anger, collaboration, business-sense, desires,... a lot of things but there was no covenant, no commitment for life. The most telling response came as a comment on another video where ambition was mentioned. Ambition for Virtue is very different than ambition for Moir...I believe this was the end of their business alliance . So, the fairy tale is over. It’s actually a tragedy; kind of like a “Romeo & Juliet 2”. May they find happiness. Who knows, with age often comes wisdom. If God wills it, they may cross paths someday...

The old saying, “The eyes are the window to the soul” speaks to the story captured on film; I see a change through those eyes. Hence, a business partnership emerges...a contract is signed. If you are a person of faith, you know that God created man for relationship, for covenant; covenants are not like contracts which are dissolvable once agreement is met. They may have had a relationship that lost trust and a contract was signed. Like I said, it’s a tragedy. I met a couple who in youth united, lost trust, went their separate ways, both married different people. Time passes, one widows the other divorces...their paths crossed again. As more mature, “with more baggage” adults, they reunited and married. Wisdom, by the grace of God. May Tessa and Scott be blessed as life unfolds.
