It's not just one Guard. Most of them are ignoring the new rules. I saw one the other day sitting watching silently while a man got hold of the horse's bridle to hold its head in place while he stroked it. That's three rules broken in one go...and the Guard couldn't have cared less!
@@busk1976 Someone looked it up and the space in front is some sort of easement for the Military. They can enforce it. It would be great to clear it up.
Of course, if the guard does not enforce, the entitlement will continue unabated. It looks as though many people do understand and respect the reason for the white lines. I could also see that others would be clueless as to their purpose, perhaps thinking it's for the horse or something. The ones who will paw the horse in spite of the very clear sign, will have no hesitation to ignore the lines. Without consistent enforcement (just like with toddlers) it's a lost cause.
All that time, trouble and effort to keep the tourists back and one gawp of a guard does nothing to protect his horse from the hordes, disgusting.

Those poor horses are nothing but a petting zoo attraction. Any guard not enforcing the rules should be removed. This is a cheap sideshow.
Have they decided not to enforce the new boundaries???
Shouldn’t the guard be saying something?
No

That guard is either a coward or an idiot. He should be telling the tourists to get back
Would you want his job?
I start watching again when the rules are applied ...:(
I don’t understand how these tourists can miss the huge sign on the wall next to the guard. It clearly states every rule.
Too shy to speak up? It’s ridiculous.
Unbelievably, too bad.
I don't get the meaning of the line. Is it for tourists, or the horses?
No one, local or tourist, is supposed to cross the white lines.
@@mtnmagic1998 Thanks. Then, I hope the guards will enforce the rule.
@featherk Most do, but it's still new.
@@mtnmagic1998 If the line was around a big hole in the path would people cross it ? I doubt it so why cross this line

As I said when the box was first put in place, most of them think it is there to tell them where they SHOULD stand not where they shouldn't.
Should incmpetent guards be fired,or is it just British style to not follow the rules❓😢
GAURD your Horse !
