Awesome, Nick! 😃Thank you so much for taking on this trip! It was a treat for me as well. And you sure have done a heck of lot of research! You mentioned things that I didn't remember myself at the moment. 😂Even the music had a Scandinavian feel to it. Great work! And yeah, I know some Norwegian names and words can be "tongue twisters". I bet those particualar Norwegian letters Æ, Ø and Å makes no sense to others than Scandinavians. But the Æ sounds like the a in the English word "bad", Ø like the i in "bird" and Å like the a in "awesome". Hope it makes some sense. 😊 And thanks for the mention! 👍
I always use the drone when looking for specific things like the stave church, or when flying over an area with a lot of POI’s. Another beautiful and fascinating video, thanks Nick!
Ummmmm .... yeah, I don't know why I didn't think of that. Obviously, I couldn't do it mid flight, but it was close enough to the airport that I could have jumped over once the vid was complete.
I would love to go to the northern part os Europe, the Nordics have so much to show and tell! you said it right, the J sounds like I in, for example, Fjord. thanks @ToBCreations for the tour idea and for the Scandinavian language class as well :D and thanks Nick, of course, for one more awesome flight! one more to the books, on to the next one! ;) *EDIT* oh, and that go-kart track is Kongsberg Gokart track, they got rental karts and a really fun track layout too!!!
I know ... what is it about that? When I went back to watch the flight again (and could fully concentrate on the scenery), it almost seemed like everything was in hi-def when the snow was down. Not to mention, it just feels like Christmas.
Exactly, it really looks good. I did a flight from geneva to munich with live weather at sunset, and the small cabins with lights going up the side of the mountains were awesome🙋♂️
Oh heck yeah, I love flying with the sun low or down. The ground lighting always looks great and you can't see any scenery defects, to the extent there are any. Unfortunately, I've got to keep things brighter on the channel or we would have trouble making out our landmarks. Every now and then I'll turn the sun down for our approach. The Naples and Canary Island flights are like that, if you haven't seen those yet. The Naples trip is actually one of my all-around favorites.

Such a cool flight- thank YOU!
Such a beautiful country. Norway also the home to their national treasure, the wonderful female singer Aurora. Cheers Nick ;)

@@MSFSFlightPlans You can active pause and do it mid flight if you like, but it does ruin the immersion.
