It’s not a bad thing but we starting to look more like last year team with the half court game , how are opponents taking us out of our up tempo run and gun so easily, it’s like they controlling out temp. Don’t we have the roster to force them to play how we want vs the alternative?

Exactly!! Hopefully, after playing UNC/Duke, SC remain vigilant in not letting rankings fool them. Oftentimes it's the unranked team(s) that catches you off guard. This is for two main reasons: 1. They don't want to get blown out and 2. They have nothing to loose. I can't lie, I thought this year would be a re-build year after losing so many to the WNBA draft last season. Even Dawn thought as much. Just goes to show just how dialed-in and committed this group of young players are. As many have stateded, this is by far Dawn's most rounded and balanced team she's ever coached.
Looking forward to see the team gel together more. Hopefully by playoff time they are in sync. Since they are #1 again every team will play them extra hard and no pressure because if they lose no big deal That's the curse to being #1
As a male I coach girl’s BB- I obviously couldn’t connect to them like a woman can-But they loved/respected me-I could tell you so much how they were upfront with me with their bodies/attitudes-They were tough as Hell-Mama’s are tough beyond the credit they deserve!!!

1. It's South Carolina over E'rybody ALWAYS! 2. Bree Hall all day! Don't sleep on sis! She is only going to get better with time. She plays with such poise! 3. SC has to work on FREE THROWS! 4. They have to do better than Cardoso. LSU and UCONN are waiting to shut her down. 5. More players on SC have to learn to play at the pace/tempo of Fulwiley and attack the basket like her. Raven slows down when she should be speeding up. 6. Dawn needs to put more pressure on the ball in the first half. She doesn't have to press every time, but South Carolina's defense is their bread and butter. 7. In order to beat these upcoming teams - LSU specifically - everyone has to contribute on offense and defense. Including those coming off the bench. Walker and Feagin have to do more. Let's go Gamecocks!!!!
Cardoso needs to catch high and close to the basket, no basketball move. Pivot up or jump hook. Watkins and Kitts need more touches in the high low action!!!
That's what Duke and UNÇ were able to take advantage of defensively they were forcing her to be a post player i don't see how people keep calling her one the best bigs in the Country 😂😂
@@BrandonMassey-ii5nx I believe they are looking at her defensively and her size, but a skilled big/post player would punish her!! I like Watkins, Kitts and Feagin much better!! Watkins has a scorer's mentality, but can be just as intimidating on defense!!

Because the networks and media invest millions of dollars in promoting and covering the game...part of those millions includes allowing their reporters designated questioning time with the coaches and players so that questions can be answered before media reports are filed. These reports and coverage help expand the growth of the game. Lke it or not, its part of the game and part of the coaches job.
