Banarasi sarees are finest among sarees in India and are crafted in the ancient city, Varanasi also called as Banaras. These sarees are famous for gold, silver brocade zari weaving.
Dupion silk sarees are woven from pure silk fabric using fine thread in warp and uneven threads are tied in the bundle or reeled from entangled cocoons in the weft. Random slubs are created due to this process creating a special texture all over. Woven mostly using different colors of threads throughout the warp and weft, these sarees usher in a luxurious feel to the wearer.
